    hi

i have just found the dei cavalieri in milan, ejh saying £1010.00 for 3 x double/twin total stay for 2 x nights - Findrooms quoting £461.00 for the same duration same number of rooms.

Am i right in thinking that I could get double that difference back? Am a bit of a newbie to this thread and don't want to make an expensive mistake.

    Can anyone help please.

A work colleague is going to the Dei Cavalieri tomorrow. I booked it for her and her family and will be refunded in full under the EasyJet Hotels guarantee. So long as all the terms of the guarantee are met, you should be fine.

Correct, you can only claim for 2 nights. You would need to book 2 nights with EJH, do a claim and book the remaining nights with whichever site is the cheapest.

Tried to get in on this deal a few weeks ago, but all the rules changed and I couldn't find anything suitable. Now I'm back to try again, but am bog-eyed from staring at his computer screen all night trying to find a deal.

I have booked ryanair 1p flights to Milan 12-14 jun. If there is anyone kind enough to point me in the right direction for a cheap (or free) hotel I will be very grateful. :)

I am a newbie to this thread so please be gentle! (I can't quite work out how this works...)

I would like to book a hotel for two nights in Dublin in August (13/14) - but we wont be flying with easyjet.

Easyjethotels (hotelopia) offer prices for several Dublin hotels which, according to hotelcomparison are not the cheapest...so is it true that if I book with easyjet - but then point out that other hotels are cheaper -that they will give me a full refund??
:j Capital One: Claimed back £267.48 interest Received back EVERYTHING

Yorkshire Bank Visa: Claiming £163.84 Received back EVERYTHING

Yorkshire Bank Current Account: £4500 - Recieved back everything.

Money saved so far: £100+ on train tickets; £100+ on a washing machine; £52 on travel insurance. £20 a month on shopping delivery; £100 on car insurance...

...Thanks Martin! You deserve a Knighthood! :money:

No they will refund double the difference.

So say EJH price £150 other £100 you get 2x £50 refund so net cost £50
    I have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.

No, Easyjet dont fly to Dublin so the DD guarantee isnt valid.

The DD guarantee is only valid for destinations easyjet fly to.
You dont have to fly with them, but it must be an destination served by an airport easyjet fly to.

You really need to get this right, or its going to cost you money
My guide may be of some help

It says only 1 claim per family in a 3 month period, so I cant see a way round it really if you are all the same name and cards are registered to same address.
I'd book 1 room with EJH then the others with the cheapest other supplier, using quidco and the likes of for extra cashback. The fact that your money is tied up with EJH for at least 4 months now, makes this IMO hardly worth the hassle unless the saving is huge.

    Thanks for reply,

Yes it has initially taken away my excitement thinking we could all stay for next to nothing.
Partner and I do have different surnames but cards are in the same address. Also kids have different surnames !!(complicated) will have to look into in greater detail.

hello wise people, can anyone point me in the direction of some step by step instructions?

I've checked out budgetflyer's site, which is great, but i still have a few Qs.

I go ahead and book with EH, then email them the same hotel, same details etc, and they eventually refund me something.

is it the difference they refund? or double the difference?

also, does it work ok to go through quidco and get the hotelopia cashback?

    thanks for your help.

    :) M
