I do feel ok better for the fact that i know ds1 will not have to be in same form as step son, dd is still really not well, which isnt good as she is so looking forward to red nose day tommorrow, but she has taken a turn for the worst again tonight so dont think she will be at school tommorow, but i have promised her if she isnt that i will spray my hair red and we will make funny picture which she was happy about!!
Some one has given me a brand new mobile phone for ds1 too, only problem is he needs a vodaphone sim card for it as it is locked to them and i dont have one!! Need to check ebay.
Sorry for moaning everyone, so many of you having way more pressing issues than me.

DLB, have a look on the Free Sims thread on the mobiles board. I'm pretty sure Vodafone are giving out free PAYG sims at the minute (try google...)

Nothing else to say, except HAPPY BIRTHDAY Tru, and (((hugs))) to those in need. Oh, and congratulations to Miss TiredMum :)

    Hiya,

    just popped in to say

    :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Tru:bdaycake:

I went to Lidl to get some more seeds and another batch of stable buckets after work this evening and noticed they are going to have breadmakers next week (Thurs).

They are Bifinett ones, cost £24.99 and the blurb is

    • 112 minute quick bake program

    • 1 hour “keep warm” function
    • Automatic fruit and nut reminder
    • Viewing window
    • Supplied with measuring jug, spoon and kneading paddle
    • Includes instructions and recipe ideas
    • Free 3 year manufacturer's warranty
Here's the link BREADMAKER as they are on the website now.

Feathered friends update  - Mrs Coot was heard talking to chicks last night, no-one is sure if they are hatched yet as she hasn't been spotted off the nest in ages.

All the neighbours are worried because work has now started on the Olympic village and there are "proper" working barges and tugs going up and down the canal all day now transporting stuff. It's great that they are using the waterways and not the roads BUT their wash is banging the nest sites against the canal wall. If the chicks get into the channel between the nests and the wall and a boat goes past... icon9.gif.

The geese are leaving, the flocks of immature black headed gulls have gone back to the coast and the mallards are battling over nesting sites.... That reminds me, I better go put those buckets out of reach :D

I'm off to catch up on the daily, hugs to all having a rough time just now.

Aussie, Snowy and Pink, have a fantastic time tomorrow icon7.gif
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D
