OS daily thread Thur 15th March

Hi this is the Daily Thread for Thursday the 15th of March. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Morning. Up at stupid o clock today. Can't sleep, too many things on my mind I guess. Nothing serious, but things I must do that I have been putting off that won't wait any longer.
Anyway. Hope every one is well. I had a an average e-bay day yesterday, sold half of my items... bit of a nuicance having to re-list, but the other stuff finishing Sat is going well.
Work again today, nothing much happening, so can see myself making a few errands in company time to post my stuff to people.
Long weekend off to look forward too, Sat-Tue off so hopefully it won't rain and I can get some garden dug over.

Good morning N9eav and all to follow..

went out like a light last night after all that gardening !!!!!!!! i am a bad sleeping, i get up at least 4 times a night for a wee !! where does it all come from.. its not as though i drink lots before i go to bed... also im an early riser, i get up between 4.30 and 5am once im awake,im up. so i get most of the jobs done early morning like wm, dw, bw, prepare dinner and the ironing.

caught up on last nights thread, lets hope today is better for everyone.

penny-pincher... yes the kfc out there is yummy, i have a recipe to make biscuits pm me if you want it. also we bought home bottles of Jack Daniels bbq sauce that we got in wallmarts...oooohhh its soooo yummy !!!!!

work this morning, then i have decided im am going to have my lunch on the beach, making the best of the weather while its here as its going to get cold again next week.... well of course it will as its comming up to Easter and school hols !!!!!!!

hugs to you all...... think im going to have a nice CHUCKY EGG for breakfast this morning

not happy this morning had a big row with ds1 and ds2 last night now I don't begrudge my kids anything all I insist on is they ask first dd had asked for something a small packet of sweets (they don't have sweets very often) and I said she could have them after her dinner when she went to get them they were gone I asked and everyone of them denied knowledge of them so I went to the boys room to find drink cups loads of sweet wrappers cake cases and the like in their room not somewhere I go often
so I've now banned them from having the tv/video/dvd or stereo on in their room for a week I'm just so frustated at them as it amounts to stealing
(Rant over)

packed lunches to do
ds1 needs to go to the doctors
school run(s)
bm to go on
and mount ironmore needs tackling

Mrs mix - im the same, my 2 can normally have, as long as they have asked - and i also went throught a stage of 'finding' sweet wrapers (and uneaten sandwiches) in corners of his room. Hopefully we've now put a stop to that.

Should be a quiet day for me today, only one Lo, and she is at nursery this morning, so my plans are to get some grass seed and tackle the lawn. We all went in the garden yesterday (it was lovely, warm and the children all played nicely together) and i cut what grass we do have, and then used the fork all over it, ready for the grass seeds. Just hope some of it takes!!!
Also need to do a bit of leaning, but with Lo not here, hoping to get it done before i have to collect her, so that we can do something in the afternoon, although she may want a sleep as its just her here.
Thats about it for me today then, such an exciting life i lead!!!!

morning all, its a nice washing day again i got another bag of washing from kyle its nice to see the ropes full and it all blowing in the wind

i got the car back from its mot so it looks as if the bill will be manageable, good old betsy, she is a great car

hope to get to asda after work today then off visiting then post office for elderly neighbours pension

math i dont like mills and boon but i would read your attempts at it must say i prefer more historical books or non fiction, i make good use of the library we did since the children were little and i loved reading them the ladybird books at night, mrs mouse with her basket of brambles etc

Goooood Morning Old Stylers! Not been around much for the past few days - I've been *doing a Queenie* and being OS rather than chatting about it Been really, really busy, with one thing and another. I've been doing lots in the garden, and found a couple of Old Stylers peeping over my fence, yesterday :beer: :j :T Great to see you, girls

Off now - beautiful day here, so I'm off running (in training for the Race for Life) then out in the garden again.

Morning Everyone

Back at work yet again. Feeling very run down and in need of a break. I'm going to look into taking some time off I think

Went shopping for a new dress for a ball I'm going to next week. Most things in the shop were £199+ I got mine for £50:T My sis wasn't happy - hers cost much more!!!

Didn't go kick boxing last night as I was too tired. I keep losing my voice and have developed a lovely cough, which is showing I'm in need of a rest.

Todays plans, im keeping dd at home to make sure shes fully ok for red nose day tommorow as shes so excited about having her hair sprayed red!! She just has a bad cold but seems ok this morning so going to take her into town to shop at boots!! Have £40 worth of vouchers that just NEED spending lol.
Need to post mothers day card to MIL today as royal mail not so relable lately and need to make sure she gets it on time.
Other than trip to town not alot planned as tea already prepared no washing to be done ( oh do need to clean the footy boots and coats though).

had a good nights sleep last nite so feeling quite refreshed I hope everyone has a better day than we all seem to have had yesterday
todays tasks are calling the kennels to book the dog in as we are going away at easter weekend for a couple of days to Yarmouth we book every year as it is peanuts if you do it while you are there for the next year, call the soliciter do some washing and general tidy up and i am having my friends little boy after school for a couple of hours as she is on a course
mrs mix we have had the same here it is usually DS but its not happened for a while
