Morning everyone
Happy Birthday Tru
Been awake since just before 5. Why does that always happen on a day offAt first when I woke up I thought I had work then realised otherwise so that's a bonus
Yesterday at work got notification of my annual pay increase - 3.25% so not too bad. More than I expected as I got a 6.5% increase just in October for moving to another department :j
Also got notification of my annual bonus which gets paid on Tuesday. Where I work we get quarterly and annual bonuses so for 5 months of the year there is a bit extra in the pay. However, like (I think it was) Bargain Rzl the other week I am pained to spend it. Since I started with my company I have squirelled away my bonuses for my old age - everyone at work thinks I am mad :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Today I am off for my weekly shop. Don't need that much - mainly fresh stuff (milk, fruit, veg, packed lunch food) so hope not to spend too much.
Have some washing to do as well and a few adminy jobs - got a huge pile of post in yesterday that all needs sorting.
Looking for a recipe to use up some nearly past it bananas but can't decide what I fancy
Bye for now0 -
Good morning all,
hope it finds everyone better than yesterday.
Happy birthday Tru.
Mrs - mix - my kids are usually quite good and don't take without asking but my youngest dd dangles a choc mousse or sweets in front of my face when Im busy going on "can I have" "pleease!!" and keeps on and on until I sometimes say yes before I have realised!!!
anyhow must go, take care all, cat is now scratching door to bits cos I cant let him out till after his check on Friday - its driving me mad - but at least he's okay!
Take care all love bbxxIf you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -
Morning All
Sun shining here too. (((hugs))) to those needing one.
Happy Birthday Tru
Pen-Pin hope the pain is less today
Pen-Pen wondered where you'd got to.
Mrs-Mix totally agree you must have trust and even sweets is thieving
skystar you have to balance old age with needs now - lots of us can remember our parents doing without, to have money in old age but too feeble to use it.
Spanish this p.m.
Have a good one all

Good Morning All
Happy Birthday Tru - Have a lovely Day
Im sure a lot of us can relate to you mrs-mix, I know I certainly can with my DS. BUt Ive never known my DD to do anything like this? Is it just boys or can girls be like this also? I once confiscated everything out of his room and put away in the loft! If he was good, he got an item back, & so - on!
NOt feeling 100% this morning, throat just as bad, and now my whole body ache's! Went to bed at 9pm (thats early for me) and I was awake at 4am.
Anyway, best be off
Have a good day
Take care

Morning All
Busy day today, off to town this morning as its market day. Later on I need to clean my car out as either DH or myself need to pick up my dad from the airport tonight hes been to Krackov(sp). While I'm outside I need to cut the grass aswell its so long that DD cant play on it at the moment. Somewhere in the middle I need to make some tea, do some washing and clean out the fridge.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Morning all
Just popping in quickly to see how everyone is. I've really got cracking with the uni work I have outstanding. The one piece is finished and ready to go in Monday when I'm there next and I'm really making headway with my dissertation. I must admit I've missed this place like mad but I was using it as a distraction hence why I'm only logging on every now and again.
Hoping to do some more work on the uni stuff this evening and a big clean through the house this weekend as it's starting to resemble a pigs sty
Hope everyone's keeping OK, as always take or leave the :grouphug: as needed. You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -

donny-gal, by old age I mean about fifty and retiring to a villa in the sun :rotfl:
(Well a girl has to have some ambitions)
Oh, and we don't go without just now. We have everything we need - roof over our heads, food in the fridge, clothes on our backs and a few nice holidays every year0
