Morning everyone
Bit dull here today, but at least it's not raining. Off to Lidl this morning to get some of their special offer wool - I'm in knitting moodThink I will make a rice pudding in my slow cooker later - I know Aldi's tinned ones are probably cheaper, but I can't go a day without using one of my OS gadgets :rotfl:
Might give digging the lottie a miss today (feel a bit lazy) so might root for something to list on Ebay - whatever did we do before it was invented ?
Happy birthday to anyone with one today, and :grouphug: for anyone needing one.
Have a good one xYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning everyone and :hello: to those who haven't been around lately
((( hugs ))) to everyone who is feeling poorly, under the weather, fed up, etc.
Happy Birthday tru Have a lovely day.
Have DS's parents night tonight. ** Proud mother alert!** He got his report card earlier this week and I was almost blinded, it was shining so. He seems to have buckled down more and is on course for level 7 in all of his subjects except ICT, when he takes his SATS in May. I'm not worried about the ICT at all as everyone in his class is on a par with him and even that is projecting a 6 for him. Proud mother boast now over.
W*** today (yes, it's so bad that I can only put one letter in). Second job and lately it has amounted to me standing photocopying files for four hours each Thursday. It is just sooooo boring. Still I need the money so I just have to grin and bear it.
No plans for dinner tonight as I don't know what time I will get back from the parents night.
Have a thrilling Thursday everyone. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Hi, Shez  The Race for Life is 5km (about 3 miles). After the winter lay-off I'm starting doing about 3-4km atm. Just got back from running for about 25mins. Went out in my new running top with integral sports bra - bright pink, £3 from Cancer research shop :j
Sat having breakfast - the last of the *rhubarb and custard* jam (   gift from a friend who went on a tour of the West Yorks Rhubarb Triange  ). As my children say - very random
Small penguins have a day of school tomorrow, so doing Red Nose Day today.
DS's footie team won on Saturday, in the cup match. DS set up both goals and got Man of the Match. Forgot about it until he was mentioned in today's local paper :T The other team has a reputation for playing dirty - their coach is dreadful. It became apparent that one of their players is registered with another team, too, which is against the rules. We just showed them on the pitch, so won't be bothered making a fuss - don't want to have to have a replay. We're now through to the semi-finals  which is much further than we've ever got before.
Need to tidy the house, then off into the garden.

Morning chums ,
had a nice night last night walking around the Chatahm Docks ,didn't spot any spooks though .My DD got something a bit unusual on her cam-corder . a shooting light annomaly where there were no illuminations at all !! very odd .She had to record the walk as she is starting in September as a visitor/guide there .
My cold is really nasty now and I am feeling very bunged up at the moment .Just had a look on the long-range weather forecast, and it seems we shall be getting some SNOW next Monday Eeek I thought that spring had sprung with all this sunshine .
Off to play with my smallest grandson this morning ,we have a great time talking rubbish and giggling . Why do the very young and the ...erm more elderly (like me ) get on so well. Am I approaching my second childhood do you think ? or just a daft old woman
Answers on a postcard please.
Well ta, ta, for now folks ,may pop in later Take care and <<<hugs >>> to all in need0 -
Hi everyone,
Sorry my posting seems to be more and more sporadic.
Happy birthday to Tru.
Tinkerbelle, you are shaming me, I am doing three modules of disatnce learning with Uni of Gloustershire (sp?) and have done very little this term. Partly because I'm working full time and feeling really tired, partly because I am applying for a promotion (also advertised externally) and if I don't get it I can't see any point in continuing to study. I've also got to finish filling in the application form.
Luckily DS seems to be doing ok with his dissertation:T .
DD is coming home this weekend and we are going to a spa for my birthday. although I dreamed this morning that we missed it:eek: .
So not a lot oS going on, I've virtually stopped flying and am just keeping up with the basics because I'm feeling so TATT (tired all the time).0
