2010 said:Charter ISA options on maturity include do nothing and it rolls into an easy access variable ISA paying 4.3% currently, keeping the same sort and account number.
Ideal if you intend to transfer to another provider or just want a variable rate ISA.
Pity other providers don`t do the same.
Some roll it into a measily 0.10% variable ISA.0 -

Charter's sort code and account number are 20-19-90 and 83495248. This are generic details for all Charter savings accounts - you will also need to provide your specific reference.

Can somebody explain this product to me please and how they make up the 6.25%? Am I not better placed to keep everything in an ISA straight away when I am subject to higher rate taxation?

I was looking at this a while ago. The 6.25% is by the way of a 2% bonus on a fixed rate bond if you open their S&S ISA.

Just seen in the MSE newsletter that there is an option to receive a boost for the Chip ISA. I don't think it is possible to transfer funds away, close the ISA account and reopen with the code and transfer funds back in within the given timeframe. Can't think of another work around but great for those not currently using a cash ISA with Chip and able to benefit from this.

Don't think Chip will allow you back if you close an existing cash ISA, so timescales are irrelevant.0

I've got a T212 cash ISA at 5.0% (recently down from 5.20%). Do you know if i can open this account and transfer in my existing ISA? I can't find this info on either the T212 site nor the MSE comparison page. Neither can i see anything about a "free share"?
