Same here. All funds transferred today from Nationwide to the VM Fixed Rate Cash ISA Issue 14 after initiating the new account opening and transfer request a few days ago on Sunday 25th August 2024.Bobblehat said:VM 1YR Fix ISA Issue14 (NLA)
I must give Virgin a thumbs up for speedily transferring in my Coventry LIM ACC ISA today ... in less than 24 hours of me opening the VM Issue 14 yesterday! No problem with having previous years of contributions plus £20K of this years contribution in the Coventry ISA, all done very easily online, including the application for the VM ISA!
Looks like I timed it well ... Coventry ISA drops to 4.7% on 02/09 and the Virgin ISA Fixed at 5.05% 😊
I also received the M Plus Debit Card in the post today after opening that account on Saturday 24th August 2024.
Very impressed so far with Virgin Money

Appreciate the update! Had just set up a fixed rate with them a few days back to receive forthcoming maturity proceeds.2010 said:Charter 1yr fixed ISA increased tp 4.67%
On the back of your post , phoned them to shut down that account and have now set up the new in readiness. Will keep an eye on this thread, since if you snooze you lose!1 -

May have been mentionedbefore if so apologies.
Have just seen Marsden online easy Access ISA at 4.85% . Min to open £5,000 though. Accepts transfers in of past and current years contributions.1 -
Just to note, it's postal transfers only, not electronicGrowingold said:May have been mentionedbefore if so apologies.

Charter ISA options on maturity include do nothing and it rolls into an easy access variable ISA paying 4.3% currently, keeping the same sort and account number.
Ideal if you intend to transfer to another provider or just want a variable rate ISA.
Pity other providers don`t do the same.
Some roll it into a measily 0.10% variable ISA.1 -
Also not flexible though deposits can be made throughout the 24/25 tax yeargwapenut said:

One useful thing about it though is that Marsden BS allows deposits by debit card online.Growingold said:

Where can you locate the sort code & account number with Charter? I thought they only gave you a long reference which contains part of your surname.2010 said:Charter ISA options on maturity include do nothing and it rolls into an easy access variable ISA paying 4.3% currently, keeping the same sort and account number.
