Mum was in Barclays the other day - apparently they will be launching a new "very good" ISA at some point in the near future. No other details than that, except that you will be able to open and service it via the branch network (so hopefully will be better than last year!)0

I got the best rate last year from barclays..postal at 6.5% guaranteed until april 2009...I thinx even higher rates will be available over the next two weeks..i remember asking in alliance /leicester a couple of weeks back and it was 4.85%..its now 6.25% ,0

Should the northern rock on post #1 be modified?
Northern Rock Fixed Rate ISA - 6.20% issue 58 (fixed until 15.09.2008)
Currently on issue 61/62and only paying 6.1% but the fixed term has increased...
they do have a 'fixed rate access isa' at 6% allowing withdrawals and aditional deposits - but the later only 'while the ISA is still available to new customers'0
