Nearly off the front page - BUMP!
Could this mean that their rate could go up :D, methinks the pope has more chance of becoming the next Archbishop of Canterbury.
But don't rule out the Archbishop of Canterbury becoming the next Ayatollah! ;)
  • Mum was in Barclays the other day - apparently they will be launching a new "very good" ISA at some point in the near future. No other details than that, except that you will be able to open and service it via the branch network (so hopefully will be better than last year!)

The first post has been updated to include the new 4 Year Fixed Rate ISA from Halifax, paying 6.20%.

  • A&L Direct ISA pays only annual interest! Surely that has to be a drawback?

Not for people who want their ISA interest to accumulate on top of their ISA capital. ;)
  • Should keep ISA rates up nicely for start of tax year. :j

    Kazza,

Should the northern rock on post #1 be modified?
Northern Rock Fixed Rate ISA - 6.20% issue 58 (fixed until 15.09.2008)

Currently on issue 61/62 :D and only paying 6.1% but the fixed term has increased...

they do have a 'fixed rate access isa' at 6% allowing withdrawals and aditional deposits - but the later only 'while the ISA is still available to new customers'
