Paragon Bank triple access cash ISA now 3.35%. (Flexible)

My 'Issue 8' is still showing 3.2%  - I have messaged Paragon to ask why.

This may simply be because they haven't applied the rate increase to previous issues. To be fair to Paragon though, they've been pretty good at doing this in the past. If this is the case, then there's no reason why you can't open the latest issue and transfer over - I can't remember whether there's an option to do this online or whether you have to contact Paragon though, so just make sure you actually do a proper ISA transfer and don't simply close the existing ISA yourself.

Yes I suppose that may well be the case.  I will wait until tomorrow to see if the increase is applied overnight (and to give them a chance to reply) and then make the transfer if required.  There was a post in the savings forum to say that Paragon rates are increasing from 5 May, although I haven't seen an email to that effect.

I've got Issue 8 too, so will also be monitoring. In the past, rate rises have often been passed on to previous issues of this account before being rolled out as a new issue, so this may be a change to their previous way of doing things.

Looks like  Virgin have upped their rates for the second time in a week.

    1yr fixed 4.2%, 2yr 4.3% and 3yr 4.35%

As I was still in the 14 cooling off period for one I opened at a lower rate I gave them a ring. After a quick chat with CS they have improved the process of transferring to the new issue. Opened the new isa online and transfered in the previous one with no requirement to send secure messages.
Rates have changed for a 3rd time to 4.22%, 4.32% and 4.37% today.

The advice I was given yesterday was still to send a secure message.

I just got a response from Paragon - relevant piece follows:
    • In order to receive the higher rate of interest, you would be required to open a new account.
    • If you wish to open an ISA and transfer your existing Paragon ISA into it, please select ‘Open New Account’ on the side of the page. You can then select the ISA you wish to open and then click ‘Apply Now.’
    • At the start of the application we will ask you, ‘Will you be opening your new Cash ISA with a transfer from an existing Paragon Cash ISA?’
    • If you select ‘Yes’ you can continue the application and it will allow you to move funds internally from your existing ISA.
I think I will leave it until Tuesday as I don't want to be stuck with the money in limbo over a BH weekend!

It will be one ISA or the other depending on when they complete the internal transfer. It won't be 'in limbo' but probably not worth the bother of transferring until Tuesday.

Are Paragon a little slow with their internal transfers?  I assumed if it was internal it would be done straight away (like the Coventry do).  We all have Triple access issue 12 paying 3.2% but will now wait until Tuesday.  Thank you

Despite saying that I'd leave it until Tuesday I have just applied for Issue 13 (to open with transfer from my Issue 8) and it said three working days.  I'll report back when complete!
