Also, in the maturity letter (dated 10/3) for the current issue, it says ...
" if you would like to continue with a Fixed Rate Cash ISA, then opening a new account is easy, please note for the 2017/2018 Tax year we will not be offering a Regular Saver ISA."0 -
Principality has raised (!) the interest rates on its fixed term ISAs:

If you still have room in higher interest current a/c and/or RSA paying 2%+ and has not reached the tax threshold for interest, IMO it is better to look at flexible ISA however low interest rate of this flexi ISA does not really matter. Once in flexible ISA transfer it out asap and back again on the same tax year right before the new tax year start kicking on.0 -

Are you sure? It's a requirement of ISAs that you can withdraw money from an ISA at any time or transfer it to another ISA manager (although a charge may apply).0 -
Yes you are right isasmurf, the leaflet does mention a charge for transfers out.
180 days interest.
No transfers in.0 -
Coventry rate on list is showing as 0.90% (but with 3 asterisks next to it?) for Easy Access ISA (5). Coventry have it listed as 1.05%0

Is this only a leaflet in the branch?
Can't see anything on the web-site0 -
Leaflet says opening date 6th April.
I have an appointment for the 11th.
Projected balance on 5 April 2018 assuming full funding is £20258.60.
The clerk did stress that the rate was variable, though none of my other accounts have ever been reduced.0
