Seems Al Rayan bank have cut the expected profit rate on their one year fixed rate isa from 1.36% to 1.09%.
They will also be cutting the rate on their 120 day notice isa – now closed to new investors – from 1.55% to 1.2% - from 18 July. The only positive at least is that they give you 120 days notice plus another 14 days – notice of the rate drop.

Also has anyone with a 40 day notice isa with Yorkshire or Clydesdale bank checked their online banking today – my account and balance has disappeared! I am assuming this is while they convert it to the new instant access isa paying 0.5% - from the up to 1.25% available until yesterday on the 40 day notice isa. I hope that’s the case anyway!0 -
Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone's OK. I have been updating the thread, though some ISA providers have been offering new ISAs for only a few days and then withdrawing them, so there's been a lot of work keeping up with all the frequent changes.
The first post has been updated. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
