The 2yr fixed from Punjab at 1.9% seems to have gone from the front page Kazza

Notts B.S issue 19 is no longer am afraid - replaced by a 2yr (ish) 1.5% which is maybe a little too low for your list Kazza.

Just received a call from the advisor @ Saffron.

He said head office has just told him that they won't be offering the Regular ISA @ 3.5%.

They might still be launching one but probably at a lower rate.

    Disappointing news.

    Makes sense.

Their 3.5% last year was .5% higher than the next best (which didn't allow penalty free withdrawals either).

The previous two/three years, the rate on their Regular ISA matched the rate of their Regular Saver account (4% & 3.5%)

Looks like this years Regular ISA rate will be lower than their Regular Saver unless they're planning to lower the rate of their regular saver as well.

Have lots of accounts maturing in the first week of April (2 x Saffron Reg Isa, 2 x Chorley Sunshine & 2 x Lloyds Reg so may need to open another Santander 123 for the 2.7% (after £60 fee)

    I feel your 'pain'.

A Notts Special Saver 2 Reg Sav, HSBC Reg Sav (hopefully renew) and N&P Family Reg Saver (hopefully roll over) too!

For those of you in Northern Ireland Progressive are maintaining their Reg Saver ISA rate of 2.75% for the 2016/17 tax year.
Save up to £1,270 per month. No transfers in.

Useful if you are approaching your personal savings allowance limit

I wonder if it will be worth the bother of opening something to become a member in order to qualify. Depends on how much could be deposited monthly.

Opening an account with Saffron Building Society won't make you a eligible to open products for members only.

    Saffron define members as:

"Anyone who currently holds a personal savings account with the Society and has maintained a balance of at least £100 for 12 months or more. Members also include our mortgage customers with over £100 on loan. To be a full (voting) member, you also have to be over 18 years of age. Being a member gives you a number of rights within the Society."

    See here.
