A lot of people wait until near the end of the tax year. In addition, people may have previous years money in flexible ISAs which they could withdraw from, then replace before the end of this tax tear.

NatWest & RBS Fixed
Am I correct in my understanding, that as the start date of these ISAs is 27th October and money has to be added by 26th October, there is no point adding money before 26th October, as it won't earn interest?

My understanding is that 26th Oct is just a funding limit. Any money added to it before that date will earn full interest.
