Vanquis 1- year Fix Rate Cash ISA (4.66%)
Just applied to transfer my current Tembo Cash ISA to Vanquis!
Printed off transfer form and sent this morning!
Interested to see how long it will take?
Had already applied to the VIDA 1-Year Fix, (4.65%) last week, but the application froze at the final stage, and I never received the link to download the completed transfer form!
Vanquis ISA application stages are identical to VIDA, but VIDA allow you to send the completed transfer form by email, so in theory should be quicker?
Not a massive difference between either, but Vanquis ISA is flexible and I have found their customer service to be very good.

I was toying between Vida and Vanquis for my transfer. Having to print and post has put me right off. I have no faith in Royal mail. So i will try Vida. Do they have 2FA, cheers

I believe Vida Savings do use 2FA, but like I said, I never got to officially open account to find out!
Yeah, its a shame Vanquis only accept completed ISA transfer forms by post, which they claim is for security?
The transfer form is 98% complete when you download it, just requires a signature and date!
It was printed and in the post box within 10 mins, But I get a lot of people will prefer the email option.
I would have been happy with Vida, as it ticked a lot of boxes, but for the sake of potentially waiting slightly longer, you're getting a fully flexible ISA and a bit more interest.
I await with interest the processing time!

Regarding Vanquis ISA's, you can transfer on your original application without needing to deal with forms. I suppose that depends on which bank you are transferring from, mine was BoS and was all done online, no emails, no forms to be signed. However, if you are adding another transfer after the account is opened, then you have to contact Vanquis for instructions.
There was a conversation about this not too long ago. If I find it will link later.0 -
I've just tried to open a Vida 2 access flexible cash isa but the first set of questions on the application asked me whether I had already opened a Cash ISA elsewhere this year, which I have. I would only have been able to proceed with the application by transferring that ISA to Vida, which I don't want to do.
I haven't encountered this before - is this common practice? Or have I misunderstood something blindingly obvious?

How is it a "fully flexible ISA" if it's a 1yr fix? 🤔
You're Damned If You Do & You're Damned If You Don't.0 -
In the product summary it does says it's a flexible iSA although withdrawals are subject to 90 days penalty

I messaged them last week about this and they replied that they were in the process of amending their application to reflect this and that I could go ahead and subscribe even though I had already subscribed elsewhere this year.

Thank you for this information - that's helpful. I'll message them tomorrow and see what they have to say.
Best Wishes,
David
