I think most ISA providers were inundated with last minute; 2 weeks before the end of the last tax year, new subscriptions and/or ISA transfers. Under 65's will certainly have to get their Cash Isa sorted well before the end of this tax year, especially with the proposed up and coming changes to ISA's in the next.

Delays will affect everyone. The potential loss of this year's allowance is probably not worth risking even for over 65's.

Personally, I like it done and dusted asap, funds and a decent interest rate permitting 😉. May seems to have produced some very nice fixed rate Cash Isa's, fuelled by competition in the fixed rate Bonds market at the end of last week.

Send me your full name, address, email address, phone number, bank details and shoe size and I'll see what I can do! I promise I won't sell them on ;)
I can't quite believe that we're in this position, considering that neither of us have ever earned enough to pay the higher rate of income tax. Years and years of being frugal, saving hard and having a personal and works pension have definitely paid off. I still like to keep abreast of what's going on in the ISA world. Old habits die hard.

Charter easy access, 4.26% monthly or annually, no withdrawal restrictions, accept transfers.
Kent Reliance are proving very hard work so think we have a winner.

Tandem have recently upped some of their Fixed ISA rates

Kent Reliance and Charter are part of the same banking group

Yes, but I've worked through the application and for whatever reason Charter's is much simpler. They don't require a paper form for a transfer from my current provider, for starters
