    Well done Linda .
I get weighed tonight but I have lost the plot and feel as if I can't be bothered. Think it is probably because of the miserable weather! News of Siberian weather next week does not help as it makes me want to curl up and do nothing. :):):)

    Hi girls,

Just wondered if anyone has heard of the "slimming" (calorie counting) site "nutridiary.com". For anyone who likes to regularly view their weight loss progress, this could be worth a look.

It's a global site where you register, record your personal details and goal (by either weight or date), then you have the option of logging the food/meals you eat on a daily basis and it works out fat/carbs, etc. for you. You can also record any exercise you do and it will calculate the calories you have for each day and adjust accordingly when you exercise. Each time you enter your "new" weight/measurements, it automatically calculates your BMI and body mass and gives you a little chart of your progress, together with other reports.

I joined a couple of years ago and religiously recorded everything I ate (a lengthy process as many of their database foods are American and you have to manually enter all the details:rolleyes: ). However, having just re-joined, this time round I'm not entering any foods, just using it to view my progress (or not!).

Might be worth a look for some of you. There's also a good chat forum for support.

    :)

  • Can I join it too?

Just over a year ago I got to my target weight having lost 7 stone with Slimming World, but then we got married and I cam back from the honeymoon 9 pounds heavier *eek* and since then it has crept up again slowly. I am now 1.5 stone above my target weight but am finding it almost impossible to get back the motivation and willpower that I had first time around!

Hopefully by 'going public' on here you can all help me.....

I know how you feel about trying to get motivated again. I have just started today to write down everything I eat and drink and am trying to stick to "free food". Fingers crossed as it really does seem to help.

  • I know that potatoes are a free food - does that include the packet of Walkers Beef & Onion Crisps that I just ate?

Mmm, not sure about the "healthy" bit, or even the "beef" come to think of it;) . Difficult to work out the sins in Monosodium Glutomate when you don't know how much they put in.

P.S. : I love beef and onion crisps!
