  • Hi everyone,

well done to those who have lost weight, :T I have only lost 1 lb this week, but have lost 4lbs in total since the start of the year, so I am not too disappointed.

I need to watch the portion sizes and drink more water.

    Good luck for next week.

for those who are trying to swim to get fitter, there's free training programmes for all levels on:

    http://www.swim4fitness.com/

just click the correct pdf for you level. I've found this really useful to keep me motivated.
    You'll need to register first.
  • "Saw the physio the other day and he said I am allowed to do some gentle exercise now, as long as I don't go daft and stop instantly if I feel my back/neck hurting (was in a car accident couple of months ago). Not working Monday afternoon, so going to try either swimming or a gentle exercise video depending on how I feel."

when i was having physio after a car crash i was told to only swim if not doing breast stroke, something about the angle you hold your head at not helping your back/neck to heal.

like you said though - you can try it and stop if it fells painful :o

I'm good on up and down head movements, it's side to side and ear to shoulder ones that hurt most, so he said breaststroke was better than crawl, as I don't need to turn my head!
Here I go again on my own....

I don't know if it's any help but there's an offer for the F2 book on the back of Allbran bran flakes. Still sticking with WW though - report my weigh in tomorrow :)
You have to buy two packs of Bran Flakes (either size) to get the new book for £4.99. I've bought one of the bigger packs which has a short F2 guide inside. Will let you know what I think of it. Shame the offer's not on All-Bran packs as DH eats that, but I've also bought the rest of what I need to make the old Fibre-Filler mix and will try to make some up this weekend (although I've got a rotten cold so don't feel like doing much, fortunately not even eating!)
Signature removed for peace of mind
  • i just got weighed, another 1Ib off - now 8 in two weeks. :j
I was sure i would have put on as i've not been that strict this week - too much booze, homemade bread and gingerbread.

Don't know if DH was intentionally helping, but he managed to persuade me to buy a value big pack of choc rather than the bar at the supermarket checkout that i fancied. I ended up only eating 2 squares, and wouldn't of even had that if he hadn't given them me.

I have 2 dates to aim for:
i'm going to be my nephews godmother - christening on 2nd of April
i'm also going to be matron of honour for my friends wedding 31st/03/2007

This is how i work best.

Hope everyone else has had a good weekend, and i'm looking forward to hearing how everyone has got on.

    hello - im back again,

Ive been naughty and gone and weighed myself before paul mckenna says I can, but guess what - ive lost 3.5lb in a week! been listening to it almost every day and yestereday I listened to it twice. Just wish he wouldnt wake me up at the end of the cd as id love to snooze off after being so relaxed from it!!
  • Sorry I haven't posted guys, really busy - but I lost another 1lb last week, bit disappointed, but at least it's in the right direction - hope it was 'cos of time of month. I've lost quite a few inches though.

Which Paul McKenna CD are you listening to? I've got the 'I can make you thin' one, but haven't played it yet. Gonna try and get my hubby to put it on my ipod for me. Maybe I'll read the book, any help is a bonus!

Everyone is doing so well, when I get a minute I'll run down the posts and add up the losses - it must make a fantastic total!
