Just last weekend me & my husband were out shopping when we spotted an old neighbour who just brings us both down with his constant tales of woe, so we tend not to stop & speak any more as we can't get away from him..... I said to my husband 'Oh God no it's Leon, just say hi & don't stop & talk'. We breezed past him & he stopped, looked at me, & told me he could lip read & he'd heard what I'd said
 I, of course denied all knowledge & said that I had said no such thing & stuck by my story. 0 -

Things that I've quickly regretted saying
"Yes dear. Of course your mother can come and stay for a few days""When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson0 -
Upon being shown photos of my boyfriend as a teenager (now ex) I blurted out "You'd have been sooooo out of my league back then!"...which he took to mean he'd let himself go. In my head it had sounded like a compliment :rotfl:. I never lived that one down!!!"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."
