I am so pleased for you..seriously it is such a great feeling getting under the big 0's..There was me thinking you had left us and gone off track..but no, you were in the background chipping away at it...So you have a next target of under £39....even it it's a penny. That is how I stay focussed..it really works especially as you have minimum payments that come out anyway which reduce it down automatically..

As for a 2nd hand sofa..good luck with that sale..I am sure somebody somewhere will need one, and I keep things crossed they are looking today and find yours ..

PS..If you look through your diary you will see that you have cleared a staggering £9263.00 this year!!!!! That is amazing..:j:j:j:j If that is not enough reason to sneak off to the alcohol store I am not sure what is..although tbh now is a little too early :beer:

Well, not much happening here today. It's soooo cold - can hardly bear to leave the house but did manage to make it to town to buy some a few christmas decorations. Snuggled by the fire now with the dog and a cup of tea Doesn't get much better than this!! Will worry about budgets and the like tomorrow

Helloooo all

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! Still quiet here - DH and I got a pizza in last night, a few beers and finally got around to putting the christmas decs up. Was a lovely evening and we managed only a few cross words when the lights got tangled for the millionth time!! The dog has not peed on the tree yet so thats good but does keep biting the pine cones off :rotfl:Grrrr.

Really feeling Christmassy now but also starting to look forward to January and ploughing on with this debt mountain. Its helped such a lot looking back at old posts and seeing how far we've come. Nice to end the year with a bit less debt than we started it eh? I might do a new 'to-do list' as that helped quite a bit too.

Anyway, DH is out tonight so early night with a book for me and the bed to myself...bliss xxx

Evening

Not too much planned for this week so thats good on the money front. The girls and I are going out for a christmas lunch on Saturday which we do every year instead of buying pressies for each other so really looking forward to that (- and feel quite smug and MSE as surely spend less than if had to buy them all presents?!) It's been sooo cold here lately haven't wanted to leave the house unless absolutely necessary!! Sat and wrote out all the Christmas cards last night so just need to post them and wrap all the pressies and I'm done. Oh and do the grocery shop for fresh food but that won't be until next weekend. Found some lovely Christmas recipes I want to try over the holidays! Oooh and work announced we will be paid early so have enough money left to get through to payday, hurrah!! Won't think about January for now Nearly the weekend...xxx
