I'm here too now! Better get dressed and walk the dogs soon. Chicken is cooking, breakfast dishes washed up. That's it. Dry here today so hoping to get out in the garden to tidy up there.Spend less now, work less later.0

Morning all, spent yesterday flat out flying so house is looking loads better today. Sparky was suppose to come yesterday and sort my plugs but didn't appear, fingered crossed for monday morning.
Also managed to sell the sofa and it's being collected on monday, at least that means the boys summer scheme can be paid for.
Today DD is away to the swimming pool for a birthday party, it's about 30 odd miles away so we're gonna take the boys to the cinema (first time for DS3). Plan is to get pressent wrapped, wm on with school uniforms, get everyone dressed and go. Need to be leaving the house by 11.
Hope everyone has a good day xxxSometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Morning all
Flying will be on hold until I've written a substantial amount of reports. I didn't manage any last night, but enjoyed my night out with DH. No Father's Day visits to do (both my dad and FIL passed away a long time ago), but I feel for anyone who is struggling with today.
I'm hoping that I can get out for a bit with DS2, just to get some fresh air and maybe a coffee at my favourite cafe. Also want to plant my fuchsias in the planter by the front door.
Hope everyone's Sunday goes to plan. x
ETA quickly tidied kitchen after breakfast; WM, TD and DW on. Not supposed to rain here today, but sky looks threatening. DH has gone out to take something back to B&Q and DS2 is playing. The teens (own and borrowed) haven't surfaced yet. Time for reports round 1.0 -
Snap Mrs C.
Having said that I have washed pots, emptied dishwasher, put ironing in front of sunny open window and washing on line.
Made a lemon cake last night - mum and dad are away and I get the fresh stuff to use up - two lemons - one cake made (and almost all eaten). Very easy all-in-one recipe, too!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Good morning all xx
I have washed dishes, got clothes in the WM, TD and on the line. I am ironing now with my new ironEasily pleased!!! Although, I did want one of those big steam generator things, I cannot justify £100 for an iron!!
Anyway, back to it..........xx0 -
Morning
Bathroom thoroughly cleaned
All beds stripped
wash one doing its thing
wash two ready to go in
Our bedroom hoovered, under the bed and everywhere
Time for a shower next and to nip to the shops. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I've done enough ironing for now....I have emptied and reloaded the WM and TD. I need to put the hoover round and wipe over the bathroom and downstairs loo before having a shower and getting dressed!!!!
Quick cuppa first, so HHC at 12:45??? Join me if you can xx0 -
Right, well I've walked the dogs, sorted recycling, put washing on airer (don't trust it not to rain today) and cut the grass back and front. Not the neatest job in the world, but it will do. Now off to prep veggies for dinner later. Also need to groom dogs and vacuum living room.Spend less now, work less later.0
