Parents are staying so have spent today beating the garden into submission. Only one trip to the tip dusty with 6 garden bags and one dog food sack. Five bags are now full again and my dad is recovering with a long bath!

Rearranged all the food cupboards yesterday to allow the last approved food order to be put away, and now have a list, so need to meal plan.

OH's desk arrived with my parents so when he is back from seeing the kids tomorrow we'll be able to start working out what bookshelves we need in the spare room. The new spare beds have met with approval, as has the redecorating.

Now need to start thinking about supper... It's hard work having to produce three meals a day. I don't envy those of you who have to do it all the time!

Sorry I haven't been around. DS2 seemed to like his new school, I hope this is the case when he starts full time 9th July.

Painting is nearly finished. Have to shorten the new curtains and decide if we are replacing the flooring well actually getting flooring as we have stripped floorboards at the moment. The floorboards are very wobbly so need some attention. Wardrobes are being purchased Friday evening for delivery next Saturday and then please can I have some easy flat pack putting together vibes as they usually cause someone to get into a really bad mood.

Today, my dancing classes were to dance at a local festival but it was rained off. I still got a soaking waiting with the children for their parents to turn up. We are dancing at a carnival tomorrow so I hope the weather improves.

Off to wrap FD presents. Back later xx

Buns made, DS1 collected (20min drive each way to his gf and not a good bus service ) and Father's Day present bought. Just made tea for DH and the DSs - not sure what I'll have yet.

Sorry you had bad news, valli. Maybe something else will turn up if he is looking already and he won't be out of work for long.
As to reports, they've been on my list all week and I won't get them done if I don't make a start. Maybe go to the party anyway and take your mind of things.

Be kind to yourself, skipsmum. You've done something from each list and I bet you've done quite a few things that aren't even on there. Take time to rest and I hope you'll feel better soon. (((hugs))). Bit worried about the crying, though. Can't be good for you.

Skipsmum.. behave yourself... how long were you told to do nothing for? How long did you actually follow that? You have just had massive surgery, you are healing still.. I forbid you to do a thing for the next 2 days at least.. and you are only allowed to do 2 things off the list and only if it absolutely has to be done!.. The mess isn't going anywhere! Take care of yourself for a change (((hugs)))

    Beasties in bed! FINALLY..

    1 load of washing done
DW done once.. needs to go on again.
Filled a carrier of old pants to reycle
emptied bins in loo and bathroom, mopped both rooms and cleaned the wooden bits on the stairs.. still not perfect but they are getting there.
    Changed mine and Dots bedding
Found some more bits to sell so I am doing those momentarily!
    recycling out

I actually did more than I feel like I did!

    Evening all, absolutely cream crackered.

Greenbee - 4 dump trips today, I think we've probably filled one of their huge dump bins by ourselves :D

DS2 and I have washed up so the kitchen is straight and WM is on a cleaning cycle.

Kaz so sorry to hear of your neighbours passing.

Valli sorry to hear of your financial woes

Seriously? I'm first in this morning? Almost 12 hours and not a peep?!!!

    Am I missing something?

    Anyway..

Babies fed.. need to remember where I put, retrieve and wrap OH's gift.. Though the card is written!.. that's good going for me!

Cuppa time I think.. then I can get these 2 bathed and dressed and get some flinging done in my room and list 20 more things on ebay hopefully! I WILL have the money for the car seat! (£305)
