Anyone up for a HHC with possible extension? I've been to Lidl and did a HHC in the kitchen putting shopping away and generally straightening things. Laundry is a WIP and I 've made lunch for myself and DS2. Going to have a look at the list and see where I fancy starting. No shortage of ideas there... :D

I can sympathise with your DH, Mrs MP. 14 years on I still wish I was buying mother's day cards and presents for my mum. :(

    Anyone 'seen' Valli?

    OK, best get going.

Hello all. A few bits done today:

Dogs walked and groomed (about to be walked again when my meringues have finished in the oven)
Weekly shop and menu planning done
    Fridge cleaned
    Living room vacuumed
Three lots of washing done, most on airer

May watch a film when I get back from dog walk, DD bought me three DVDs this week and it's not even my birthday, must be doing something right!

    Catch you all later.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Afternoon

Operation extreme hedge trim in the front garden in progress, one car load to the dump already, new pane of glass purchased as it is near the dump (well we went to the dump slightly further away as it is near the glass place). Three more loads to take to the dump yet.

    Flying - cat bedding washed.

May get the rest of my list done tomorrow but hedge will take the rest of today.

Wow! just popped over for a look and THE FIRST post I read is you looking for me

been really busy and now I'm on a major downer. ExOH has a likely redundancy date so will stop paying child support.

The budget is SO tight...I just want to cry.

I'm supposed to be writing reports and also going to a party tonight...

I have, however, found more treasures to list and had a good batch of sales this week from the Jubile free listing (I list for 10 days now, timed to finish on a Wednesday so this gives potential buyers plenty of time to find my treasures and me ample time to post out on my unpaid days).

Did remember to take (step)dads card to Mum for her to pack - they're in Costa de Luz.

Now I have caught up with Fred and spotted this
Oh Valli one, where for ought you for thou is missed?

    am very flattered.

    Kaz
    - sorry to hear about your neighbour

Bossy - read the decluttering thread and spotted the weevil trauma - as I said there they don't like it dry so when weevile infested cupboards are cleaned blast the crevices with a hairdryer to dessicate (and kill) them.

    Anyway it's only money...

Was on a trip Thursday. My group caught Miller's Thumbs (or bully-heads as they are known round here) was green with envy as another group caught crayfish (native ones, too) which I have never SEEN before, much less caught.

Kazw sorry to hear about your neighbour. (((HUG)))
I have been fighting the reappearance of the black dog recently - DD2's healthhas led it to creep back in when I wasn't looking..... and the weather doesn't help......
I'll get Sidders to come and bite BD's bum.

Little guy is very doddery on his feet now, but still wanting his walks, and still demanding that his food be laced with crushed-up biscuit.:o Oh, and he's still a very messy eater.:D

Yes I do; he's an inspiration - with all his health problems, he still enjoys his life, and he's so very good about having his insulin injections; he still likes Mr LW, despite that fact that he sticks a needle in the back of Sid's neck twice a day while he's staying here.:o

Flying-wise; we've given the bath a good scrub (taken the bath lift out to do it), scrubbed the compost caddy, and hoovered the kitchen floor *counts off on her fingers* four times today, I think.:D

Well, that took a bit longer than a HH, but one corner of DS2's room is now nicely clean and tidy. Overall, the house doesn't look any worse than it did at the end of the holidays - in fact, it looks a bit better. If I keep this up, it will eventually look good.

Buns now, then father's day present, lift for DS1 and tea. I'd hoped for a coffee break with some of the left-over lemon drizzle cake, but that's not looking likely. Oh well, I'll have it after my tea. :D
