I can't remember now, unfortunately. Maybe some of the others can remember that far back (my memory is shot now).Je Suis Cecil.0

Here is Perky pleading for help from the experts on Pepipoo. You can see they did their best to help him:
http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=33579&hl=
He was found out when he posted the exact same query on another consumer site using the same username and then used that user name to announce his latest court "victory", having first tried to edit out the earlier thread. Only Perky could pull a stunt like this and get it so spectacularly wrong.0 -
Looking forward to seeing how this pans out!0

Hi Broadsword,
given the fact that UKPC are not the landowner and that they have no right to charge for any alleged infringement, this opens another avenue of possibility.
I'm on about their status for collection of monies here.
If they are chasing for an alleged debt to their client, ie Sainsbury or whoever, they are out of the loop for receipt of money not owed to them.
I would guess that the contract with their client doesn't specifically say they keep all money obtained, only a percentage of it. Which makes them debt collectors rather than creditors. In that case they need a consumer credit license for debt collection which I can pretty much guarantee they don't have.
There's no way I can see they could present themselves as creditors.
To debt collect without a license is a criminal offence.
Of course you may see it differently but that's my take on this.Confucius say woman who sits on Judges knee gets honourable discharge0 -

And then there are these...
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
Actual claims can only be made by the person who is owed the money.
And this would be the landowner, not the PPC.
I've shot off similar stuff to BR+ myself just this week.
How's this one panning out then Bargepole. Any further activity yet?Confucius say woman who sits on Judges knee gets honourable discharge0 -
Not really. I had an online message from my debt collectors to say that they didn't think UKPC's "debt" was recoverable on a no-win no-fee basis, which is not really surprising.... How's this one panning out then Bargepole. Any further activity yet?
No further letters from UKPC, DR+ or anyone else for a few weeks now, I'll update the thread if and when any more arrive.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -

Might be a good time to set the debt collectors on them.
Might also be a good idea to refer this to the DVLA as obviuosly PPC are sending stuff to a debt collector with no intention of taking legal actionConfucius say woman who sits on Judges knee gets honourable discharge0
