  • He has, but this is a jab in the other direction. They can't claim to take people to court if they don't actually do it.

    I thought you had an online company chasing the debt, and issuing a County Court Claim?
    Yes, but they will only have sent a "draft" claim form. Actual claims can only be made by the person who is owed the money, not be debt collectors acting on their behalf, contrary to the misleading spin spouted by the likes of DR+.

    I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

    Now received a standard "Notice of Intended Litigation" letter from DR+, full of the usual bow locks.

    Sent them this reply:

    Dear Ms Barker,

    <etc etc>

    Yours faithfully

    Love it! :T:T

    The 21 days must be up about now, why don't you get the claim off asap, rather than waiting for them?

    Probably it's worth waiting for all the letters to come before issuing a claim, why claim when it's in dispute and not gone full circle ?
    Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
    They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
    Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

    They are in stage 3 now, which means making phone calls to UKPC. I'll wait until I get their report on the outcome of that and see what happens.

  • Wonder if they'll post up requesting help on a DCA thread somewhere on here ...

    (IIRC one PPC owner on Pepipoo posted asking for help in dealing with a different PPC's ticket)
