120 children? you brave soul, where are you all sleeping?
In tents on the school field  I don't 'do' camping but really wanted it to go ahead as the children were so excited about it. They needed parents with school CRBs so I felt obliged really. Oh well, lazy day tomorrow - probably sleep all day :rotfl:Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0 -
Went for shopping yesterday and spent £136.22
Mind you, that's for this week and some food to take away on holiday next weekMy lovely parents have given me some cash to pay for any extras next week, so there shouldn't be any more to come out of the GC money :T so will only be over by £3.58 for the month.
Work this morning, but stripped our bed first and put the sheets in the washer. Emptied the kitchen freezer into the garage freezer so I could defrost the kitchen one while I was out. Put down Lakeland Drip stop to catch the puddleand when I got home DD2 had stripped her bed too, ready to put sheets in the washer, and she'd hung our sheets out and brought them back in again before she went out. They've dried lovely
Good drying day today - so far. There are a few clouds now, so I'm hoping they blow over before long, and let me get the rest of the washing dried! The freezer is now getting back to temp before I put everything back again! Now then - what will we have for tea? I'm whacked
Maybe a very easy pasta bake.

Nsd here, even my morning cuppa at work was free as they do a stamp card scheme and I found a full one in my purse. The great thing is, my boss can't be bothered with them, so I give him my card to get stamped, and he usually buys me a cuppa at the same time. He also brought me in a cake pop yesterday that his kiddies had made, lol. Isn't it me supposed to be bribing him for a better appraisal rating. Having said that he did mention my spiced apple cake earlier... Maybe he's dropping hints...Bossymoo

Just a quick question about the banana ice cream, how long do you leave them to freeze for? XJune £0.00 GC / £200.00Family of 4 : 1 adult 3 kids ages 3,4 & 5.0

Hadn't planned any spending today, but I had to get some tomatoes, cucumber and coriander for a salad I've to make for a work shared lunch tomorrow (£1.90).
Also came home to discover that OH had been naughty and spent £1.95 on part-baked bread and some chorizo. He made penne arrabiata (his speciality) with garlic bread for dinner - his had the chorizo added at the end, I mostly eat veggie food so I didn't want any. It was absolutely delicious so I can't complain
I'll be late in again tomorrow though so kind of hoping he sticks to the food we have in for tomorrow night's dinner rather than stopping by Mr T. May start hinting for veggie curry as we have all the ingredients in - meal plan was actually for cashew and egg fried rice but he looked very unimpressed when I said that at the weekend so I don't think it'll happen :rotfl:Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Evening all (sounds very allo allo :rotfl:)
I was out on the road today and usually take my lunch but always end up stopping at a sm lunchtime to stretch my legs use the loo etc and always end up spending money in there so today I thought it would just be cheaper to buy my lunch and not to wonder round the sm aimlessly- nice plan in theory.........
I Spent £5.50- £1.75 on salad  50p on 2 watermelon slices  £75p on 2 pre packed soreen malt slices  and £1.50 on soap and £1 on 4 double deckers again-
I cant believe the price of prepacked things its crazy!! Whats worse is Ive never really noticed before although I have pretty much always took my own lunch into work rather than buy sandwiches etc
I dont know what to do next time im out on the road as ill have to stop somewhere for lunch (and use the loo :rotfl:)O/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -

Had an exhausting day and I am typing this to update just before going to bee bye land. Was up at 5am with baby then get DD1 ready for school from 7am then shopping at 10am, home for 1pm, collect DD1 from school early for Dr's @ 2.30 then off swimming for 4pm home for 6pm phew thats me done in.
Shopping went so well today really pleased and I even used the printable Greens coupon. Was a tad nervous as I have never used one printed off before and was worried it would be refused :embarasse. Anyhow, didnt have any creme caramels so I got the egg custard one at a huge cost of 9p:T, will be printing some more off for my next visits. Spent 21.54 at Mr Asd@, 6.92 at Ald!, and 2.99 at Mr M. £1.50 at Wilk0s. So out of my £40 budget I have a wonderful £7.05 left. thats the most I have ever had left so really very pleased.
Hope you all had a good day folks, I'm signing off and will catch up tomorrow no doubt.TopCashback £1792.63My Little World0 -
Hello! Happy to report today has been an NSD! Whoop whoop! Still sticking to the mealplan and with only 7 days til the end of my month it is looking a bit more possible than it did halfway through. Still, got to get there first.
Shall start mealplanning for next week again tomorrow and write my shopping list accordingly. As I'm still trying to run down the freezer it should be another cheap one.
Have a lovely evening everyone.
