    Hi,

    I'm on Orange,
    Broadband
    IE7
    Have cleared cookies.

For a while now I've noticed that when I click on a page, link etc they don't change colour as they used to. So I can't see where I've already been easily. Don't know if it's MSE, me, the computer etc as I'm not very techie minded.

    Think that's MSE's CSS styling.

You could override it by changing the colour of a visited link.

Thanks, I will try that later. It's definitely only on MSE, all the other web sites I visit behave as they used to.

On MSE the colour changes from blue to brown when I hover, but when I go back to the same page it's gone back to blue again. Before it used to stay brown until I cleared cookies, signed out or whatever.

If you're still experiencing any peculiar bugs/errors please post them in this thread, by filling out the following mini form:

    1. What is your ISP and what area do you reside in?......BT....Essex
    2. What type of connection (DSL/Cable/Dial-Up) are you using?.....Broadband
    3. Have you cleared your local cache (temporary internet files)? * ....yes
    4. What browser are you using? ** ......BT Yahoo Broadband Version 1.04
    5. What is the error/bug you are experiencing?..........

Thanks button takes me to the top of the page!
Cannot edit anything, not even my signature!
None of the icons in the message reply box work, meaning I cannot even Quote other posters!
Pressing ctrl and f5 just gives me a message saying.....An error has occurred in the script on this page!!!!

Grrrr......I have used this forum so much in the past, but now I am getting really frustrated. Why are these problems occurring now!

Please reply this time as this is the only thread that I have ever used on these boards where I haven't had a reply.

    Thank you

OK thanks for this but remember we said we were not techie:rotfl:

I have followed all the instructions on the link but it does not seem to be working - do I have to reboot or something to 'activate' it? or have I done something wrong? Thanks for trying to help us

Thanks for your post we are currently looking into this, but it sounds as if your system is still using our old javascript files to carry out commands on the forum (which result in the errors you mentioned). Are you sure you have cleared all cached files on your machine? If you have done this properly, then it is may be due to your ISP's cache.

I will keep you updated with what we find.

    Sorry for any inconveniences caused,
