item accidently sent to wrong address and has been stolen

ordered an item and hadnt realised that ebay had my old address as default even though i had changed it to new i emailed the seller and she said shed already sent item and told me it should arrive there this morning so i went to old address and the packaging is there but the item is gone (i presume one of the people in the house took it there is two flats)

It should be sent to your paypal address.if it has been, then. Its your faullt .0

I'm not sure what you can do, especially as you do not actually know who took the item.
The seller did the right thing.
Royal mail did the right thing.
You could always ask at your old address in the hope that they admit they have your item and give it back? That's about it.0 -

The seller should have sent it to the address you have with Paypal, regardless of the address you have on file with eBay.
Check your address on Paypal and if it's the right one, it'll be the seller at fault.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0
