There are a few things that come to mind when trying to use up bananas here are a few ideas that I have thought off.
1) banana milk shake
Use 1 or 2 bananas
1/2 pint of milk any sort even any none dairy will work
2 - 3 tablespoons natural yoghurt or Greek yoghurt ( use low fat or zero fat if watching your waist line)
put these banana, milk and yoghurt into blender until thick and cream in consistency. Serve immediately.
For a twist on this milk shake use the same ingredients but add 1 or 2 teaspoons of unsweetened cocoa powder for a chocolate flavour.
The other variation to this recipe is again use the basic recipe but add 1 or 2 teaspoons of peanut butter either smooth or crunchy variety.
2) No added sugar banana pudding
For every banana you use add
2 teaspoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence or extract
place these in blender and blitz until smooth in texture either eat immediately or place in small freezable container and freeze. When wanting to use frozen pudding take out 10 to 15 minutes before required to allow a small amount of defrosting which makes it easier to eat.
3) Banana bread
Unfortunately I do not have a recipe for this one but if you use a search engine on the internet there are plenty to choose from.
I hope you find this useful

You can add banana to curries. They are lovely drizzled with chocolate and then wrapped in pancakes. Use in fruit salads. I went out for a meal once where they served a starter which combined banana and blue cheese. I seemed to remember that I enjoyed it but can't remember any more details than than!

They come out of the microwave extremely wet and when you plop them out of their skins they look exactly like giant maggots:eek: However, once mashed or blitzed with a blender they are perfect for baking.

Love the name, Purpleorc.
Banana Bread
1lb ripe bananas, peeled
2 eggs
6 oz sugar
8 oz self raising flour
optional 4 oz sultanas
Blitz everything in the food processor (or mash bananas and stir everything else in). Turn into a lined 2 lb loaf tin (use a butter paper). Bake at Gas 4, 160 C fan for 45 mins or until a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean.
Can add cocoa powder and chocolate drops for a choccy version
Can add 2 tsp ground ginger and use brown sugar for a spicy version0 -
