i have successfully started stewing fruit today, lol :j i have done bramley apple crumble. also i am stewing russet apples, pear and nectarine together, do you think this will taste ok,
as i didnt want to bin them.

Don't forget, you can freeze them too. If you just chuck them whole, in the skin still, in the freezer, you can eat them just like a lolly when they're frozen. Or defrost to use in something later.
Next time I have some cheap ripe bananas I will be making banana flapjacks and probably banana smoothie.0 -

I took my frozen bananas out the the freezer to defrost overnight in order to make banana cake today. I've done it many times before and it always works perfectly. I use Nigella's banana bread recipe with rum soaked sultanas - yum!0
