That's because I just joined, *sigh*

Oh and I was here in 2004 but got a PPr ;)

Sure you were. Took you 8 years to sign up for your first post in order to call
Martin Lewis a "slimeball", that of course you always saw through all these years.
    Clever that.

I understand you have to make a living etc but I am struggling to understand how a website made successful for having an unbiased view, which includes guidance on individuals who are in debt and struggling to get out of it and has followers who have created this net worth....could do such a thing. At the end of the day how can you not view this site as a subsidiary for Moneysupermarket!?? I saved about £900 using advice/forms from this site and probably more over the years. I was always dubious when there were responses about how much money this site generated. Crazy.

long time lurker first time poster. I have watched this site for years and I have always seen this site as a long term money making exercise, you see anyone who calls them-self an expert in any field with no financial qualifications is pushing the boundaries.

Especially when they get financial things completely wrong, ofcourse lewis was in it for the money anyone who thought nay different were just kidding themselves, I for one thought he was a bit of a slimeball and not someone who was ever on my TV.

DOH! English enough for you? editing your original post isn't clever. there's a time stamp

The funny thing is that all those registering to register their disgust are actually all potential revenue earners, it just takes a few to click on something and there's a few more pounds to Martin (good on him) :money:

So I called him a money maker, whats wrong with that?

    :D

Your original post which I quoted is there for all to see in my post. So is the timestamp to show you edited that post later after I called you out on your use of the word "slimeball" which you changed to "moneymaker". Got something to hide have we?

Oh what a tangled web we weave.....:rotfl:

Martin made £16m revenue last year, about £9.5m of it from Moneysupermarket.com.

My question is what products has Martin been telling people to go to MS for? I have NEVER followed a link from this site to MS, but lots of people must have been.

Have MSE members been sent to MS because that was the best for them, or because it was the best for Martin?
