  • my batter is already in the fridge:T I'd get lynched by my kids if we didnt have pancakes. I did do a trail run last night as im using a different eggless recipie as 2 of mine are vegan. worked well so doubled the quantity for todays lot
Pancakes today aswell. I'm vegan also and am woundering if you are using the egg replacer or banana method or another way to do yours. I think my ma has gone out for some egg replacer for me to use that as it seems easiest as I already had a go last year and the year before and they always come out perfect, even the first one :rotfl: . Hope you enjoy them as I always do hehe:beer: .

    Hi lil_me

Could you please add me to the list for £200 ??? - that's for me & DH + DD17 - (3 adults); 2 big dogs & 2 cats. Finally mananged to force myself to menu plan - if only for one week - so am very proud of myself! For afters made some HM hobnobs, have had to put them away in a sealed box to avoid eating the lot!! BTW I also can eat the mixture in its raw state quite happily (hangs head in shame)...........

I did this when I made them the other day as well. I also do it with American Choc CHip Cookie dough.:D
    My self & hubby; 2 sons (30 & 26). Hubby also a found daughter (37).
Eldest son has his own house with partner & her 2 children (11 & 10)
Youngest son & fiancé now have own house.
    So we’re empty nesters.

    Hi all,
was just going to update my sig with our spends but found that i don`t have all the reciepts to hand, will ask DH to look in his wallet when he gets home.
I will need to go and get potatoes and rinse aid later, when i went to peel the potatoes last night i found that we hadn`t any, DH swears that they wern`t on the list but i`m sure that they were!
How did he think we would get through the week without any?
I`ll be over budget at this rate because the amount that was spent was supposed to include the pots but i found other things in my cupboards that were definitely not on my list.
    Catch up later

You could use white vinegar instead of rinse aid. I do this sometimes, doesn't leave a vinegary smell on things.

Hi, thanks for your reply, what I do with the mince is bulk it out with loads of lentils, grated carrots/courgette, tinned tomatoes and whatever veg I've got spare gets chopped up small and bunged in as well. It works out so much cheaper and a lot healthier for us and our little one. I would happily eat it without the meat but OH is a meat lover and this is the compromise!
Isn't also amazing how much stuff you can hide in things like this that the kids (young & old ) will eat without realising.
