    Morning everyone!

Just an update on my budget so far. spent a bit mjore than I should as have been trying to do some baking. But i'm well stocked up for the rest of the month. Spent £19.81, but thats accross 4 different shops. And in two shops I picked up impulse stuff that was reduced and have done really well out of yellow sticked stuff in Mr m's and the co op.

So that leaves me with £30.19 left for the month which i'm still comfortable with. I've took the money out of the bank and put it aside in a jar in which I also keep my receipts in. That should stop me having incidents like 'just popping to asda on my way home'

Have a good day everyone xxx

    Hi all,
was just going to update my sig with our spends but found that i don`t have all the reciepts to hand, will ask DH to look in his wallet when he gets home.
I will need to go and get potatoes and rinse aid later, when i went to peel the potatoes last night i found that we hadn`t any, DH swears that they wern`t on the list but i`m sure that they were!
How did he think we would get through the week without any?
I`ll be over budget at this rate because the amount that was spent was supposed to include the pots but i found other things in my cupboards that were definitely not on my list.
    Catch up later

Hey Guys...thanks for your help re:BM in Lildl, but when I got there about 2-45 yesterday afternoon, they'd sold out:eek: The very [STRIKE]un[/STRIKE]helpful suited-n-booted I spoke to said they wouldn't be getting any more till next on offer:o But then I came here today & saw your comments, so perhaps I'll just have to get me keister in gear to make it from scratch anyways:p Don't hold your breathe tho---I bought a packet mix a couple of weeks ago & not made that up yetshy-smiley-9438.gif

Have to say that Lidl's has definately improved from when I last visited about 2yrs ago, & I can see why it's so popular with yooze folk.....shame ours are 10 miles in either direction. Asda is about 40 miles either way from us, but hopefully we will be getting one about 10 miles away soon. My luvverlee dad used to say tho, that the money you saved going to these different shops was used up in the petrol to get there----& now I think he had a good pointsad-smiley-362.gif Don't know about you lot, but I get fed up going to the same store to buy the same stuff week after week, so me muvva & I venture further afield every so often to have a change of scenery & a different colour of bog roll wrappergrinning-smiley-9527.gif

So my total spends so far, from 25th Jan are £90-30....not too bad I s'pose.

Even with OH with me I only managed to spend £31.73 in Tesco at the weekend! :j

Spent another £2.28 on bits for an impromptu Chilli last nigth as I fancied it and some fresh pasta for me for tonight as OH is out!

Not too bad so far and looking at shopping next week it's just additional ingredients so shouldn't be more than £30 again!

my batter is already in the fridge:T I'd get lynched by my kids if we didnt have pancakes. I did do a trail run last night as im using a different eggless recipie as 2 of mine are vegan. worked well so doubled the quantity for todays lot

Im having the rest of the week as NSDs as ive spent this weeks money and am determined not to go overbudget- my answer to everything for the rest of the week is if you cant find it you cant eat it. so bung it on next weeks list:rotfl:

  • Yes we're having pancakes tonight - the kids are looking forward already...
So far I've accounted for £69 which will be 4 fruit and veg boxes for the month, plus with what I've spent in the shops, that makes £113.08 spent or committed so far.
  • oooh that reminds me i must buy some eggs...
