Hi all. Well my budget for this month is way out!!! after taking DD to drs yesterday, (it was recommended she lose a bit of weight) we went to morrisons and bought loads of healthy fruit and veg and lean meat, youghurts etc etc... and spent a whopping well over £70!!! so I'm over £100 over budget now (I think!!!) Got a weekly shop to do tomorrow but I'm confident I'm gonna come in under budget.
I'll keep it at £300 for March because I'll soon have to do a big Aldi stock up.
If I come under next month then I'll reduce it for April.

On a lighter note, i have 7p left in my purse to last me till Friday, so defo no more food spends:rolleyes: ....my total for Feb then, for 2 adults £52.79:T under budget too. Very chuffed with myself .
No way i can manage it again next month as we're out of everything and its a longer month so can i be put down for March £98 please.
Well done to all, its so much more fun than i ever thought it would be:oThe first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter0 -
Thanks lil_me for Feb, Thanks MrsMc for the forthcoming March. Hopefully I'll do better next month, the one consolation is my freezer is full of bargains bought in Feb so hopefully just perishables to be bought this month. If you don't mind put me down for £350 again for March thanks.LBM 17th April 2007:j

Hi all,
just spent ages catching up with about 20 + pages to read
Jacks - sorry to hear of your loss hope things get better for you and your family soon. :grouphug:
I`ve been busy at work and trying to sort out things in the home too which has been a bit stressful these last few days, we have had more money going out than in for a while now and it`s been getting me down.
The electricity has been off for a while too but it`s now back on (permanently i hope) which is good as i was fretting really badly over the freezer which is crammed full, it would have been the undoing of us if we had lost it all.
I am on week one of March and have got my little jars safely stacked away for the next 3 weeks as Friday will be the shop for my week 2 i think.
I`m off to meal plan now as i`m so behind it`s unbelieveable.
Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone, I'd like to join in for March please. Need to save holiday spends and therefore want to watch the grocery pennies. Keep me motivated! Won't be too ambitious for my first attempt. Target for March £175 for 2 adults and 3 cats.0
