Hi Jacks, just a line to say how sorry I am to hear about your grandmothers - that's a lot to cope with in just one month. Look after yourself

Just a quick one folks
I said i would update on the frozen tortilla dough i did....well.... it works brilliantly :j
I took the 4 balls out of the freezer this morning and let them defrost on their own...
the dough was a little stickier -so needed a little more flour when rolling out... but as a bonus..the dough will roll out much thinner resulting in tortillas that are quite a bit bigger :j -its much nicer than making the tortillas and then freezing them
-plus because they ned a bit more filling i will only need 1 in future and not 2...more savings :rotfl:
so next time i make a batch im doubling up and keeping a supply in the freezer..for those very rare "run out of bread days":T-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

First shop of March today, we had a £4 off £40 voucher and managed to spend £40.53 without adding it up along the way :T So that's £36.53 spent, although Mr S didn't give us some of the discounts so I have to go back tomorrow  more savings though
We'd done a menu plan for the month so we just got what we needed and a few stock items. We do still have so much food in the house so I'm convinced the next few months will be under budget (famous last words :rotfl:) The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Would you happen to know of a vegetarian sausage casserole recipe.
Thinking about making some for April when I'm off school (eating at home more), know we'll spend more but with a little organisation.....
