I still get spots as well! Horrid things (normally hormonal as well)

I used to use the Clinique spot gel, which I found very effective. However, I've now changed to using Arnica Gel, which is brilliant. It's anti-inflammatory and is much more gentle (it doesn't dry out the surrounding skin). The exact one that I have is A. Vogel Atrogel Arnica Gel. I got 100ml for around £8, so it's loads cheaper than any other treatment. It also comes in a 50ml tube. (I found mine on eBay) It works quickly on almost all spots that pop up but it's struggling against a biggy under my jaw at the moment (eeeeewwww! :() Not sure anything would shift that quickly though...

Just quickly clocking in as haven't had time to sit down and finish the May thread let alone start the June one so it's just to say I'm still here, if not literally.

Have managed to do a full list of all the items I have so will post them in July's thread.

Congratulations, commiserations and anything else tions to everyone.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Hugs to those that need them x

UU TBS Coconut shower cream WMBA - This was so thick to get out! I ended up putting some water in it to try and thin it down. Love coconut fragrances though! Got another one in the stash and thats the last of TBS showergels!!! Still got a few others but have learnt it is not necessary to buy a dozen at a time.

Re those of you suffering with spots I am in my late thirties (just hanging on in there!) and still got bad spots up to last year when I started using AHA face washes and now I only get the odd one at that time of the month. I also found Benefit blusher was a huge nono for me as it made me get huge spots on my cheeks, it was trial and error to find the cause.

Thanks for posting that for me Willowbee. Won't be bothering then. I don't want any more coral colours. I have a fave that I love wearing which is OPI Lunch at the Delhi. I also own a few pinks and that one doesn't look any different to ones I own. I also own Supermodel and love it (own 2 bottles anyway) however it's good to know he's going to keep giving it as a freebie as it should be cheap to replace when I eventually run out!

Here is a link to the Beetlejuice collection we bought for Emma's friend. The colours are lush aren't they?

That's a pleasure :) I'm quite glad that you don't want any of the colours as I would hate to be responsible for denting your great run of not buying anything

The Beetlejuice set is great value :) I love the green in the bottle but I don't think I could get away with wearing it. The purple one that I chose will be easiest against my skintone (I hope ;)) but they were all fascinating colours. I think my next PYON will be with the Beetlejuice purple :j

A Non Bought In. Just had a parcel arrive with two 250 ml bottles of shower gel to trial. The shape of the bottle is a bit of a giveaway as to the brand, I think. Well, that's definitely myself and DS with enough shower gel/cream/smoothie to see the year out.

Just popping on to add a couple of things before I forget off visiting at the hospital in half an hour.

I had a little look in a storage box under the bed and found more stuff, an unopened No.7 tinted moisturiser, I used to use this all the time, can't remember why I stopped using it or when I last bought one. I also found the remains of a GWP another p&p mini and a 15ml Intelligent Colour Foundation in medium - this will be way too dark for me so will see if my sister wants it when I see her later.

    Hi All,

Been MIA for a few days - work being a nightmare would be a fair summary of why! So just speed read a few few pages.

VALM I love Dexter too although OH thinks its weird?! What does he know! :rotfl: The finale was a brilliant cliffhanger, although I can't imagine he's going to react the way Debs wants him to, although that's probably all gone out of the window now with what she saw. V exciting! Congrats on the no spend month - I've only had one bought IN in June, its a good feeling. Especially as I wandered onto another thread before and was reading about people really struggling to pay massive debts off, just makes you keep yourself a bit in check really if nothing else.

Rosemary well done on the diet, you've done fantastically well. I need to motivate myself, I can do it when I put my mind to it but have been having an 'off moment' for quite a few months - looking to book a hol for Sept over the weekend so that should be just the incentive I need to get myself into gear! That or none of my holiday clothes will fit!!

Bunnykins I'm so sorry to hear about Lucy Cat, that is so sad. :(

Maddiemay sorry to hear you're in pain - new hair cut and treats sound fab and well deserved. I hope they prove to be the pick me up that you needed. :T

Trudi Grape is beautiful, really lovely

Wil those pics are shocking!!! I hope Selfridges are going to compensate you nicely! Fab nails by the way.

ilovecakes Welcome, you're in the right place and I should so have your user name as its me to a tee!!

Hugs to anyone that needs them.

Looking forward to a nice long weekend now, nipping into work unofficially tomorrow for a few hours but off until Wednesday other than that :T:T:T

A bit of movement over the last few days has finally seen the UU for June overtake the IN after birthday gifts - whilst I'm on the subject OH said I still had another gift to arrive a while back, when I remembered this a few days ago I asked him where it was, he said it'd gotten lost and they were going to send another but he decided to cancel it as thought it looked rubbish - what was it was my question, oh something Bees, Burts Bees!!!! Get it reordered!!!! Ha ha :rotfl:

Anyway, I digress, the UU are:

TBS Dewberry Bath and Shower Gel - Lovely, lathers up really well and well scented but there's other 'flavours' I like better, such as Raspberry Ripple which I'm using at the moment and is divine. Generally as a product though WBA as get it on the right offer and its a bargain!

Superdrug Coconut and Sweet Almond Conditioner - This is actually a TA, did not agree with my hair whatsoever, which is a shame as it smells lovely. Made my hair feel dry and very unmanageable, odd as its designed for dry/damaged hair. Was only a 50ml mini so didn't feel too bad chucking the third that was left in the bin! Nothing is worth bad hair misery!!

FCUK Polished Body Wash Cleansing Souffle - As I'm sure some of you will agree, a singularly strange product - looks much more like a moisturiser than a body wash. Not unpleasant at all and I do like the Polished scent but I can't get my head around it being a non foaming product and I don't think I'd feel clean using this to shower alone. I don't think Boots do this any longer but doubt I'd BA in any case as I'd only end up using shower gel or soap as well.

Weleda Pomegranate Firming Day Cream - Loved the product, hated the scent so WNBA. I notice the next LIB YOU box is skincare, will more than likely be tempted by that, I have a soft spot for all things facial skincare :o

A few IN, although all none bought :A:

Garnier Intensive 7 Days Softening Lotion x 7 sachets (will count as one IN and one UU)

Garnier Ultralift Day x 14 sachets (Will count as one IN and one UU)

    Elvive Triple Resist Shampoo sachet

    That's me all up-to-date!

The Intelligent Colour Foundation is gone (that was easy)
