A small UU for me white company mini hand and body lotion, nice enough but fragrance is a bit strong for me not sure I'd buy again. Cut open my S&G hand cream at work yesterday...looking forward to the end of this one..hopefully in time for leaving next week so I can celebrate starting my new job my opening the Molton Brown bf brought me:jDebt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -

Not sure if this would help, but I have a few of those wooden sticks you get for stirring your coffee at takeaways. I use them to get to the bottom of bottles, pumps and for dibbing my expensive moisturiser so I don't use too much and contaminate by sticking finger in! Is there one of those push in grommet things at the end of the tube, if so you might be able to use a knife or screwdriver to flick it out then you can get at the product.

When my friend's son started to get spots (this was about 20 years ago when not so much choice in skincare) she didn't want him to use the paint stripper type stuff, so got him using Pears soap and rinsing his face several times afterwards, she could never be sure if this did the trick, but he had much better skin from then on.

I like Calm One, Calm All bubble bath by Soap and Glory but don't think it's anything special. But I've just cracked open a Radox spa bubble bath in fig and neroli that smells absolutely heavenly and slightly similar. It's half the price too. Lovely orangey smell with a green floral undertone. Its probably the nicest one I've had in ages, and so cheap! I'm thoroughly converted to Radox.
Also been finding that since I've used up all my face masks but don't really want to buy more, I slather on a layer of Nivea Creme (the classic in the blue tub) and leave it for 15 mins. I then wipe off with a cloth. My skin feels lovely, highly moisturised and looks glowy, and its not oily like I thought it would be. Such a versatile cream, it's always nice to find another use for it.
So yes, two bargin tips for you! :rotfl: no, not on commission!
Thanks for the Nivea tip, I always have a pot of this in for general use so might try that.
Welcome ilovecakes.
I have about 5 bottles of L'oreal gentle eye make up remover in the stash but now I wear eyeshadow and gel eyeliner everyday it just isn't doing the job. I wipe over my eye and my makeup is still perfect. What on earth am I going to do with them? Has anyone else found this?Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Wow, I am so behind on this thread, going to spend the morning to catch up.
I also suffer from spots, discoloration, you name it, I suffer from it lol
but ever since I bought my Clarisonic 2 years ago, those spots have diminished significantly, and my black heads are gone too. It's expensive, but it's definitely worth the investment,No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

I have a feeling that I will be graduating from my bath, hair and skincare products next month, so I need to start with my makeup collection. I decided not to put my nail polish stash up as using up nail polish is going to take me years, and it's the one of the things that I actually enjoy collecting. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

I don't count nail polish either, it is my colourful treat, some months I buy several, other months none, it just depends what "speaks to me". Well done with the bath, hair and skincare, I have a way to go. Although I think I am going to cull things that I don't think work for me now. To me that has been the real downside of owning too much stuff, my skin has changed and my preferences too. For the future I envisage having a couple of things (HG's) in use and never more than one back up. I also intend buying trial sizes from beauty boxes etc to try new products and not full sizes. Wish me luck on my journey:)The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Last post for today, as something work related just came up.
3 UU's to report:
clinique - take the day off makeup remover 50ml - WNBA, it worked great but it wasn't anything special that a £2 no 7 makeup remover couldn't do.
clarins - serum sample - wnba - glad I got a sample prior to buying, it was a little to gel like textured for my liking
Dior - capture totale one essential serum - wba and probably will when pigs fly and money starts raining from the sky. the price ticket attached to this is ridiculous! lovely and glorious product, but geez I could buy a ton of things for the price of one serum. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge
