No Buying Unnecessary toiletries in June

Sounds like something I should try (once stash has gone of course) I'll add to my to try list.
This sounds almost identical to the Vitamin C Facial Radiance Powder Mix that the Body Shop do. That's also a powder that is mixed with the water in the bottle and lasts 10 days (although I stretch it out for about 20 days as I don't like to waste any!) It's great stuff, really makes a difference, but it's expensive at £13 for 10 days. I usually buy it when Body Shop do their 50% off promos. I'd be interested to know how it compares to Decleor's one.0 -

I have been busy trying to use everything up but a lot of my stash seems to be 500ml bottles which take forever to use up but I finally managed a few outs this month :j
UU's
Decleor Harmonie mask - wba as it seems to calm my skin down quite a bit. I have another one in the stash to use up now.
Frizz Ease 3 day straight - wba as this is a hg product but again I have another one in the stash to use.
Liz Earle foot cream - wnba, this was ok but I have used other cheaper creams which did the same job.
S&G mist you madly - wnba, it is ok and I have another 2 to use.
TA
Philosophy Gingerbread scrub - wnba, I persevered with this for a while but it was very harsh, way too scrubby to the point were it was hurting my legs to use it.
S&G Sexy Mother Pucker - wnba, I could not stand this lip gloss and took it off within a few minutes.VSP member #250 -

have you tried the old method of sugar mixed with oil?I have done it on my hands and it leaves them lovely and soft, also good to get dirt out after a day in the garden but think you would then need to rinse off or it might mess up clothes/bedding!
is it me or are we not getting through so many pages at the moment?
a woman at work asked me if I did my job after retiring:eek::eek::eek::eek:and heres me thinking i still look young:(:(
came home and did my hair colour last night, guess it is a HG as i always go back to it ...nice and easy non perm colour 78,makes my hair look glossy and it a not too way out colour than fades nicely.
have a good day all
I had noticed how quiet it was as well, I'm missing all the friendly chat to be honest. I love reading everyones posts and it quite often cheers me up at lunch time when I'm having a bad day at work.0 -
Being more tempted by the TIGI up to half price sets on cheapsmells - but as both my shampoo/conditioner combos are in use (the horrible tresemme and my lovely bedhead) and the bedhead does appear to be my HG I might have to persuade myself that stocking up if its significantly cheaper is a good thing...
Hi All
Coming out of hiding to say thanks trudij for this  I needed shampoo & conditioner & was tempted with John Freida offer at Boots. Decided to try bedhead since it's a HG product (and only £2 more than JF offer which is 3 for £10). Fingers crossed it's as good for my hair as it sounds!!0 -
Having a lazyish day today after hard day in garden yesterday. Hair mask and then shower using lashings of Pulp Friction, followed by oodles of body lotion, I hope I will live to a very old age, I will need to to use it all up:rotfl:
UU's, but not counting them in totals, listing them more as an incentive to keep looking things out and finishing or throwing them away (as in the foundation samples about 3 shades too dark!)
Dermalogica shampoo, the meanest sachet I have ever had, would not have been enough even for my OH!
Avon eye gel.
Origins facial scrub sample.
LE Skin repair dry/sensitive.
Of course the one I really want to try, the LE tinted day cream stuff is hiding away, I remember putting it away somewhere, but where??????:(
UU's a bit slow, as all full size stuff, but have a toothpaste and cleanser almost there. I like a bit of variety with toothpaste, so often have 2 or 3 different types to rotate, but it does mean it takes forever to finish one.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Maddiemay - I tried the LE skin tint today, I have two sachets, light and medium and tried medium, it was a little dark but not too bad but overall it is way to shiny, my skin feels really greasy and it won't powder down either. Can't wait to get it off later.
Ladies I have created a monster, Mr Dolly was never bothered about throwing things out half full and saying they were empty until I cut the top off his no7 moisturiser and showed him a weeks worth of product left. He was converted. At the weekend he saw me tidying the shower caddy and removing a Vaseline gel oil which i mentioned in a previous post, I was going to throw it but he said it would be OK for the kids. Then last night I was rooting about trying to find a place for the body shop goodies which arrived yesterday and I took a 500ml FCUK pure shower gel and matching body spray out of the cupboard and before I had a chance to do anything with them he said 'you are not throwing those away' as if I would, I love the stuff and was just going to transport them to the bathroom. What is wrong with the man?:eek:Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Mr MM will add water to the apparently empty shower gel and shampoo bottles, and is known (family trait & joke) for being rather what one might kindly call careful, BUT will leave the outside door open while the central heating is blasting away and the fridge door open for ages letting all the cold air out:mad:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.
