I am currently wading through a huge pot of S&G Big butter blueberry body butter which i am not enjoying. I like the texture of the righteous butter but this one is so sticky I can hardly get my clothes on after even after waiting for a bit. The kids always say it smells like their blueberry porridge which i suppose it does.

Valm - just have to say I think you are doing fantastically well this month, all credit to you for curbing your QVC habit, I know how hard it can be, I don't have a thing for QVC but do for other things.:A

Thank you for the useful review of the blueberry body butter. I hope that you get through it quickly! When I'm using something I'm not keen on I alternate it with something nice - it takes longer that way but it keeps me happier :)

I agree with what you said about VALM :T:T

Also, it seems that Kipling Monkey has had an amazing month! :T:T

I have three small splutterers that I'm working on but I'm so slllooooowwww at using things up :o (very :money: but not very good for my sense of progress! :rotfl:)

Good morning all! Raining here in suffolk lol big shock
And my bus is super crowded and someone stinks haha. I am day dreaming about cruises now sigh

So I have some in's from this weekend because a kind friend sent me a gift package which consisted of
    3 nail varnishes.

I started my makeup stash list as my toiletries list is low now!! I hope to graduate from actual bath/body toiletries within 1-2 months!!!!!!!!! And then I will start on my makeup, perfume and nail polishes

Congrats on being so close to graduating on the bath/body toiletries and good luck with the Makeup stash.

I've actually TA/GA a lot of my make up from my stash, I still have quite a big a lot of it still unopened. On the plus side though I'm actually using it now (a BB cream and Mascara for work every day and proper makeup for weekends/going out). I can actually see it going down now, although it will be ages before anything actually gets UU, and I'm actually enjoying using make up again now I've gotten rid of some stuff that really wasn't suitable.

Its sunny here at the moment, but it will probably start to rain when Its time to go home.

    UUUUUUggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

My order from Selfridges just arrived and one of the items was used. They are replacing it, but honestly!

Ins (bought in the sale with a gift voucher):

Supergoop Save Face Serum SPF30 (50ml)
Invisible Zinc Staying Powder (to mattify sunscreen)

Invisible Zinc Tinted Lip & Cheek Balm - the box was really battered and grubby, the box lid was taped down twice as it was torn and the product had fingerprints in it (yuk!) and it goes out of date next month. Seriously unimpressed, especially as P&P costs £4.95  Really grotty and disappointing.

    Congrats to Kiplingmonkey as well

Willowbee - same here I have loads of splutterers, but they just keep going, I think I'm quite slow at UU things up, I have a couple of Mini's on the go and they are lasting a lot longer than they should.

I think that this is the best kind of progress :) It's lovely to know that you've found make-up that you're happy with, that is easy to use and makes you feel good :T

I suspect that things being slow to UU are part of the learning process, though it can be very frustrating! It's shocking how long it takes to use something up but it's also a useful reminder that you can use and enjoy a special thing and it actually lasts for ages :)

Thats really really bad Willowbee, I hope you get your replacement soon, and I hope they aren't expecting you to post that back to them, it sounds like it should go straight in the bin. I've not ordered from selfridges before, but I would have expecting a lot more from them.

It was such a relief to get rid of the really horrid stuff, I'm not 100% impressed with the BB cream I'm using, but its quick and easy for work days, I will do a lot more research when its time to look for a replacement.

I've actually found as well that if I use moisturisers that are more suitabke for my dry skin I don't need to use anywhere near as much (and skin looks loads better). So its economical as well as good for the skin. I'm also working out which items take longer to UU as well.

Suidreams - to their credit, the customer service lady at Selfridges was very apologetic and said that a replacement would be sent out asap. I'm going to photograph it and send a follow up email to head office though as it was really grim :(

I'm the same with foundation/base - it all depends on how my skin really is. All I really want is settled skin and one light base that evens tone. If my skin is in a good phase then I'm happy with mineral powder or the Liz Earle tint. If it's in a bad phase...well, I'm still working on how to solve that! :o My main prob is enlarged pores around my nose as lots of foundations just sink into them and make them look awful  Some bases also make my skin go oily (I fear The PoreFessional causes my skin to produce lots of oil, which is a great shame :( ) The Invisible Zinc powder I got today looks very promising though, so I will report back on that :)

 Not good - I wouldn't have thought that would slip through Selfridges.

I had reflexology this morning as a treat and feel lovely and relaxed now. I have missed getting treatments done on a regular basis but I did have to cut my spending drastically two years ago. I have decided that with the money I have been saving not spending on here I will have a monthly treat. I have booked next months already - back, neck and Indian head massage :D. Can't wait!

Another splutterer - Dove roll on deo.
