I'm also a cruse convert! I started saving up my change just to put towards a cruise in 2014 :) Royal Carribean all the way baby!:D

I got my eye on the Alexander Wang rococo (black with brass/gold hardware) :T

Did I mention we are going Royal Caribbean? Was successful yesterday and got two dresses in the Debenhams sale. One Phase Eight and the other their own Petite Collection. Both prom style dresses. I tried all different styles on but unfortunately even though I've lost weight I still have the problem that my top half is way bigger than my bottom. I only noticed though when I got home that the Phase 8 one is missing a button and didn't have a spare. Have emailed them directly this am to see if they will send me one.

Also got a Phase 8 top.

Was very good cosmetics wise. Wandered into TBS but didn't like he lay out of the shop. It was very brightly lit and felt cluttered as it had a kind of bar running down the centre of the shop. Felt more like a salon. Because of this I couldn't really see anything IYKWIM so came straight back out.

Was going to treat Emma to a bottle of OPI Minnie Mouse lacquer but John Lewis didn't have them in stock yet.

I am completely done in tonight. Just finished my 6 shifts in a row this week and have settled on the sofa with Poirot. Rock and Roll....Speaking of which I did see the Rock of Ages last night at the cinema. Not sold on the film put thought Tom Cruise was very good in it.

I really like Tom Cruise. I know a lot of people think he is weird because of his beliefs but as an actor I think he's fab, very intense. I don't think he ever gives a half hearted performance.

I read yesterday that Russell Brand was on Graham Norton promoting the film and the interview went very awry when GN asked him about Katy Perry. Mind you from the news story it sounds like a lot of it was edited out of the show itself.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Have now caught up with thread. Have another UU to report.

Clairol Root Top Up. I only stash these when I see them at a bargain price. This is the last one from a stash that I bought from Family Bargains when they were only 99p each. Will have a nosey there when I need to colour my roots again. Mind you, I have a hair appointment booked for my colour to be done at the salon next time so that it's ready for my hols.

Shopped in my stash yesterday and pulled out my LE moisturiser. I didn't have much time to get ready to to out yesterday so wanted to apply this as it absorbs quicker than the Elemis night cream I have on the go. I haven't used LE for a while and whilst it still felt moisturising I noticed I had to use more than usual so next time I buy I think I'll step up to the dry version.

Also pulled out a tube of Elemis Neck and Bust cream to start treating my decolletage pre-holiday and pulled out a LE superbalm pot (travel one) to put in my handbag. My cuticles are really dry at the moment and though I have a bottle of OPI Avoplex oil on the go the top is loose on it and so I don't feel safe putting it in my handbag.

Have a great day everyone. We are out again tonight with family who are visiting from Oz. Think I'm going to relist some items on Ebay now.

Glad you were able to find some dresses for your cruise, sorry about the missing button on one how annoying. Which cruise destination are you going on? When we went, we went with celebrity (owned by royal Caribbean) starting at Venice ending at Barcelona.

Percy and Reed Dry Conditioner, 50ml - WBA, i actually really liked this. It made my hair nice and soft just like a normal conditioner did :)
Irosie Ultimate BB Cream, 1ml - WMBA. really nice clean finish and had a really nice fresh smell. Didn't smell foundationy lol

I have never found Tom Cruise attractive until Stacee Jaxx LOL

I didn't realise Celebrity was owned by RCI. Thanks for that. We are cruising the Med calling at (not in right order) Barcelona, Vigo, Lisbon, Cannes, Malaga, Gibralter, Palma and Alicante.

I still don't find him attractive but think he's a good actor. First time I appreciated how good he is was Interview with a Vampire.

Sounds like a really good route, you'll really enjoy it. The American cruise lines are excellent, they tend to have everything. The only problem was the amount of food, evening meal was usually 6 courses, we tended to skip a few of them though.

    Hi All,

Having a lovely chilled out wknd pottering about while poor DH works hard ;)

A couple of UU, I've almost neutralised my birthday IN - just one more to go and I'm breaking even for June which has taken some willpower as I think the only thing I've actually bought this month is Benefit That Gal sample size off Ebay - I know some people have had a complete no spend month so far and I truly applaud you! :T:

Lush A Ring of Roses Butter Cream - An interesting but probably non essential product - smells lovely, a bit like fruit sorbet more than very rose-like. Don't think they do it any more and probably wouldn't BA as it doesn't really do anything, that said though it is pleasant and certainly wasn't a chore to UU.

Trevor Sorbie Colour Preserve Intensive Conditioner - WBA - V impressed with TS products generally having used quite a few lately (I must have been gifted a set of minis at some point or bought some for a hol), smells lovely and does the job, been using this as a regular conditioner and rinsing off right away - left my hair lovely and soft.

Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch - A radiance balm/primer type product - does reduce the appearance of pores and is a nice base for makeup, however, don't think I could justify the £25 price tag when the size of the pot is a tiny 15ml, that said a little does go a long way - even so I think there are cheaper products out there that'll do the same job - moved onto Benefit POREfessional now so will see how I get along with that.

A little OT but have just ordered myself Fifty Shades of Grey - been reading all the hype and want to see what all the fuss is about! Has anyone read this and the other books in the trilogy? I believe they're a little risque - in the States they've been dubbed 'mommy !!!!!!' :rotfl:

  • VALM - when I lived in miami for 2 years, I experienced this type of torrential rain on a daily basis. I remember going into a shop with water to my ankles, coming out and it was completely dried up LOL

Oh and LUCKY YOU!!!! going on RCI, I love RCI so much <3 your med cruise sounds very similiar to the one I've been eyeing, but mine goes to Italy I believe. I would kill for a Greek island cruise but ideally want to port out of southampton instead of flying to somewhere and then cruising :) I'm uber jealous of your lush holiday xx
