No Buying Unnecessary toiletries in June

Hi all,
I'm a long time lurker on this thread but first time poster! You all seems such a friendly bunch I have decided it's time to join in.
My stash has been reigned in a bit since I started reading - main main problem is trying not to buy all the products everyone says are their HGs! But it has meant I am treating myself and actually using my nice products on a daily basis rather than letting them sit in a draw for that 'special occasion'!
Let the no buying begin!
Welcome Tater - this is a great thread to belong to - really interesting to hear people's reviews of things.0 -
Welcome Tater
some more UU's this week:
L'occitane Verbana Soap - Given to me by my secret egg swap buddy (Huge thank you). I am out of body wash completely now, and now out of the only soap I had in my stash. I had to grab a bar of soap from my mother in law. This soap has no name, but it's one of those gigantic decorative soaps that you get from TK Maxx. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? It's ok, but nothing to write home about. But I'm being so cheap to buy some body wash that I really want (more L'occitane). Maybe next month.
Aveda - Dry remedy moisturizing shampoo sample (10ml) - God I love this stuff! I have so many little samples, but I'm so reluctant to pay that kind of money for haircare, maybe I'll get lucky on ebay.
Fresh - Black tea age-delay cream sample - I totally WNBA. It was too rich for my skin, perhaps this is perfect for people with super dry skin, but not for me.
Estee Lauder Resilience Lift extreme cream sample -
Once again, another face cream that felt too rich for me. I just don't like too much on my face. I will say that out of all the skincare products that I sampled from EL, that this is my fav...still WNBA however.
I am now on 291 outs - Yes I am counting samples, I know that is a bit like cheating, but at least it's using what's in my stash. I think that at 400 UU's, I'm going to treat myself to a handbag that I really really wanted for the last few years
Also, once I graduate from the toiletries, I am going to start on my makeup stash. I can't believe I'm going to be doing that.....eckkkk lolNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

Welcome Tater, hope you enjoy it here.
On the subject of thunder - I love thunderstorms, always have, can't get enough of them, the way it comes over all dark, bouncing rain, lightning, I do love a bit of weather though, extreme weather not just pittling it down all the time, am a big fan of winter too. Weird I know.
I'm exactly the same, always have been!!! Maybe I'm not such a weirdo after all!!0 -
Well I've been in my new flat for just over a week and I've still not really sorted out the stash. It's so hard to organise that much stuff
I started standing big bottles up on the shelves in my wardrobe got to two full shelves and realised it would take the whole thing and I need some space for clothes! I've now moved on to selling stuff and have ~20 things on ebay, including the mini Burberry lip mist from an old GB and it's at £9.50

I own another colour from the Holland collection as well but it's Did You Ear About Van Gogh? I think this is the last grey that I will buy though.Oooh! When are you off on your cruise? I hope that you find the dress that you want tomorrow. It's exciting to be able to buy a special occasion dress and even better if it's in the sale :rotfl::T
:T:T:T on 15 days :T:T:T That's amazing.(I don't think a haircut counts either). I'm sorry to hear that your job is stressful though...:(
HAPPY FRIDAY!
We sail on 11 August. Have never cruised before. Am so hoping I find a dress tomorrow. I don't want to order online.
Today at work was better. I work for a very busy firm of conveyancing lawyers. The lawyer I work for though (and I've only worked for him for a month) will not take phone calls at all. Some days I've felt like a receptionist taking call after call but it had got to the point where I wasn't getting any of my work done and I've been pulled for it. Anyway today he has told me that I can divert my phone for so long during the mornings and he'll pick up the calls. Today felt so much better.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Very jealous of your cruise we went on one nearly 7 years ago now, we loved it best holiday we've ever had. Unfortunately we can't go on another as we have the dogs now. Hope you enjoy it. Hope you find a lovely dress tomorrow. I really enjoyed dressing up for the formal nights.0 -

Another welcome here to Tater.
I too love thunderstorms. We've just had driving rain here. I love the smell of rain. I too love Autumn and Winter. Love seeing the trees stripped bare.
Received a sample of Une foundation today but have given it to Emma so not counting as an in.
Another UU and it's one I'm sad about: my beloved PCMC. I now only have a 15ml tube in the my stash but I'm saving this for my holidays. I'm going to try and get by using the Oxygenating Night Cream during the day and if that doesn't work use the LE Skin Repair in my stash. Wonder how long it will be before the fine lines creep back?
I'm a footie widow too. I was watching but then Gary & Co. came on and I find the pundits tedious.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
