I reckon I had a 50/50 success rate with the makeup I got in M&S.

Two of the lipsticks dab down in absolutely beautiful stains. The eyeliner looks good.

The eye primer is horrific - its actually not fit for purpose - its a really strong dark pink colour and if you rub it at all to try and dissipate the colour it balls up and literally falls off your face! I thought the blushers were a bit shimmery too.

Oh well, you win some you lose some!

Some of my Korean things have started to arrive. I'm looking forward to using the Holika Holika Bulgarian Rose moisture mask in the bath tonight.

    Stay strong Scrappie
I have a UU :T - Tesco cleansing wipes - I use them for my gym bag and WBA but will use one from my stash first ;)

Masses of healing thoughts to Scrappie and her mum.

Willowbee, keeping fingers crossed for you re the mineral powder. I love the Elasticizer, I eventually bought a huge size pump dispenser, now that I have let my hair go naturally grey, it is very porous and this makes it really shiny and soft.:)

Trying to ignore the free postage offer from LIB and the L'Occitane sale, I will need liquid soap soon, so may just have a peep later.

Re the summer sales, just keep looking in the stash stores ladies, it just might help our resolve;)

Scrappie - my mum had breast cancer 5 years ago. She had 2 operations then started chemo. The first dose had such bad side effects that she didn't take any more. She had 6 weeks of radiotherapy and took tamoxifen for 5 years. She just stopped the tamoxifen a couple of months ago. She is healthier than ever now and every mammogram since has been clear.

It is so hard to deal with when it's happening, but I sincerely hope that it will be a memory soon! Best wishes to you and your mum xxx

Have decided to throw out my mascara out I've realised that its not really coating my lashes very well anymore, just seems to add a few little lumps of mascara on them. So TA Clarins Instant Definition Mascara mini. It was a freebie anyway.

Have realised that I haven't bought any shampoo or conditioner for myself this year, or and for DH for a few months and despite giving loads away and DH helping me out it will still be a while before I can buy any.

Occitane sale now on:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:I must resist,I must resist,I must resist!!!

just came out of work to find a note on my car saying isn't the car park big enough?....er no it isn't that is why i was park on the grass like people often do:mad:

No no mustn't look at L'occitane. Especially as we may have a trip to Cheshire Oaks coming up soon. We bought Emma an Ice Watch from one of the outlets there and it's broken so will have to have a trip back to return it.

We had someone leave a rude note on our car at Sainsbury's once. Said "why don'tyou put a **** can opener on my car so I can get it out of the space?" The note contained really bad spelling and grammar and I wanted to put it back on his car duly corrected but MrM stopped me. :rotfl:

I filled up a basket of things in the L'Occitane sale, thought about it and then closed it down. Progress! :j

Stay strong, Rosemary (esp as the P&P charges make it tempting to spend £60 to qualify for free P&P...)

Errm it's still a £60.00 spend though Willowbee xx
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

don't know what to advise kiplingmonkey. I've found the only way to stop the soot marks on the jar is to use a shade (mind you get soot marks on that instead!). I only light my jar candle if I'm sure to get at least 3 hours' burn time. You're not burning in a draught are you??.

That might be it - it is on the kitchen windowsill and I had the window open the other day. Will try locating the candle somewhere else.

Big hugs to Scrappie, sending lots of positive vibes to you and your Mum.

Had a NPI today in Debs, some half price L'Occitane and Arran Aromatics - was in there to return some shoes that OH had thoughtfully bought me but which were wayyyy too high for me to have ever been able to walk in! Asked myself the question did I actual NEED any of the products and the answer was no so didn't buy, yay, progress! :T Couldn't even return the shoes in store as it happened as they were a concession they didn't sell there  what a pain

Oh no! I just meant that it's a particularly dangerous 'sale' because they set the threshold so high to qualify for free P&P and that can tempt people to spend more...

Well done to everyone that has survived NPI with L'Occitane today :T

(I've just had my 5th No Spend day since I started last week :))
