So sorry to hear about your mum Scrapie. The prognosis so far is good which must be a little comforting to your mum (and you).No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380

I filled up a basket of things in the L'Occitane sale, thought about it and then closed it down. Progress! :j
Stay strong, Rosemary (esp as the P&P charges make it tempting to spend £60 to qualify for free P&P...)0 -
I did order three things from the Selfridges sale though but as they're all suncreen/protection and I used a gift card that was going to expire in July, I'm quite happy about it
(I'll report the INs when they appear)
I have two INs to report, thanks to a gift from a very lovely lady (:)):
Decleor Neroli Oil - possibly my HG oil, so really
Philip Kingsley Elasticiser - I'm really looking forward to trying this as I'm trying to improve the condition of my hair :j
I have two OUTs that I'd forgotten to declare as well:
63. Caudalie Vinosource Quenching Sorbet Cream (10ml) - WNBA didn’t suit my skin (my only Caudalie disappointment so far).
64. Clarins Extra Firming Body Cream (30ml) - sank in immediately and smelt gorgeous but v v expensive so WNB (it was from a beauty box)
June is going to be a slow month for outs as I'm not targeting things that are spluttering. I need a month of consistent, HGish skincare...0 -
Thanks to everyone for your lovely wishes for my mum:) really appreciated.
Willowbee - thanks for the cheap smells recomendation. Going to have a look and see if I can get some more. A huge well done on closing down your shopping cart - how good must you feel right now!
I love elasticiser - really works for me, I try not work it into the roots (just the end) of my hair for 3/4 washes. The net time I use it I will slather it on all over. I find it can cause it to go really limp if I use it on the roots each time.
hope it works for you.

Scrappie - thank you for the Elasticiser advice. I feel very lucky to be able to try it out
I think I'll apply it from the base of my ears down to the ends of my hair. I read a really useful website about caring for long hair and they suggested only combing it with a wide tooth comb, wearing it back in a bun as much as possible (secured with these super-gentle hair stick/clips things) and washing it as little as possible. It was a vit D deficiency that disrupted my hair in the first place but it's definitely improving with gentle care and attention
The Decleor sale was a particularly good one. They seem to rotate the brands that they have on super-sale so if you can hang on for a while I'm sure a great deal will come around again. I'll certainly let you know if I spot one
I've put a light dusting of the Arden mineral powder on today and so far, so good. The first sign of heat or itching and I'll whip it off! :rotfl:I'd really like this to work because it's a perfect colour match, it's so easy to use AND it is SPF20. (Also I bought it for £8.99 rather than £25 and I only need to tiniest amount for good coverage so it's potentially very :money:. Please let me not be allergic to it...:rotfl:)0 -
BOOTS ADVANTAGE POINTS
You can now spend them online! :j:j:j
(Also, I checked and I haven't bought anything from Boots since Jan sales, which is amazing for me *smiles*)0 -

noooo! There is a l'occitane right near where I work!! Want that Shea butter set so badly. I'm joining you in your chant: must resist, must resist :rotfl:0 -
Stay strong, Sans Pareil
I know that I'm going to find it tricky to ignore the summer sales (I joined the challenge just after the Jan sales so this is a big challenge for me  )
I think I'm going to start my HG list following the format I've seen other use in earlier threads. I'm also going to write an 'I do not need...' list to discourage me from sale shopping!! (I'll try anything that might help *laughs*)0
