I avoided loccitane and debenhams sales, but could not resist the schuh sale. Have spent £120 on shoes in the last week, but I've got 3 lovely pairs for that, so can't complain :o

Have gotten my EL Sumptuous mascara mini out of the stash for tomorrow, the plan is to use the minis first, as I may have a chance of using them up before I have to bin them. Note I don't think I've ever finished one.

Also haven't bought anything so far (since holiday purchases and not counting Amarya box)

Oh no! I just meant that it's a particularly dangerous 'sale' because they set the threshold so high to qualify for free P&P and that can tempt people to spend more...

Well done to everyone that has survived NPI with L'Occitane today :T

(I've just had my 5th No Spend day since I started last week :))

That's where I used to come unstuck - filling my virtual basket until I qualified for free delivery!

Well done on your 5th no spend day. I am up to day 15 with no spends. i've decided that we're going to the Trafford Centre tomorrow though so I can look for a party dress for the cruise as all the half price sales seem to have started. Don't want to wait any longer especially as I have seen a few online that I like. Will order them online if I don't manage to see them tomorrow.

I did have a hair cut yesterday but I don't count this as a toiletry spend - I consider it a necessity. Was lucky my hairdresser could fit me in. Was "styling" my hair yesterday and thought it was getting a bit unkempt - foraged in my handbag for my appointment card and realised I'd missed it by a week. Another example of the stress of the job getting to me. So glad it's Friday again.

Have repainted my nails. Probably could have got another day's wear out of the OPI Wooden Shoe Like to Know but it was looking dull - quite pleased though that it lasted 4 days! Am wearing OPI Off with her Red ready for the party tomorrow night.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I have 'wooden shoe like to know?' too and think it'a gorgeous, probably a HG. I have another one from OPIs Holland collection too called I Have a Herring Problem, what an awesome name. Gorgeous denim colour too.

Thanks for the positive reinforcement! Maybe we can all let L'Occitane pass us by? :T

    Morning Ladies.

I have a uu, No7 Radiance Boosting Hot Cloth Cleanser, I have at least 4 more of these in the stash as well as other hot cloth cleansers. Really this is just a very thick, creamy cleanser that you remove with a hot cloth. That said I do like it and my skin gets on with it, very :money:even at full price as it is a big pump and you only need one pump at a time really. Have replaced it with a Superdrug hot cloth from the stash.

Should have a few more uu this weekend, so making a bit more progress.

I had a look at the L'occitane sale but didn't bother. £60 is a lot to spend for free delivery, much more than most companies. I used a few products from this brand years ago, the lavender stuff I think, and recently I tried the Shea handcream in a shop as so many of you swear by it but I found it very greasy. I think I am safe from this sale at least.

    UU

Yardley Body Wash, English Lavender, 200ml - WMBA as it is quite cheap and not an overpowering lavender scent.
    Loreal Everpure Shampoo, 10ml
Loreal Everpure Conditioner, 10ml - I would def buy these again, i have loved this range since getting the freebies to try for Supersavvyme! The mint scent is so refreshing.

    IN

    GOSH Nail Polish, Gasoline, 8ml
    Total debts = [STRIKE]£3116[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]2216[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£2066[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1916[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1766[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1616[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1466[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1316[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1166[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1016[/STRIKE]£866

    Hi all,

I'm a long time lurker on this thread but first time poster! You all seems such a friendly bunch I have decided it's time to join in.

My stash has been reigned in a bit since I started reading - main main problem is trying not to buy all the products everyone says are their HGs! But it has meant I am treating myself and actually using my nice products on a daily basis rather than letting them sit in a draw for that 'special occasion'!

    Let the no buying begin!

    Welcome Tater!

I did the same as you - read along for a while and then took the plunge :rotfl:

I'm sure you'll settle in quickly and it's great that you've already started to change your habits. I really believe in not leaving things for 'special occasion' use but still struggle with actually doing it!

The HGs are so interesting, aren't they? I discovered my cheap HG eye make up remover thanks to this thread (Garnier Essentials 2-in-1 Make Up Remover - the large bottle for your whole face, not the actual eye one :money:). I'm concentrating on using up lots of other bits and bobs of make-up remover but once I'm done I'm sticking to this (not perfect for waterproof mascara though). I can use it to remove all make-up without irritating my skin but I prefer my other HG for that (Elemis Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser - it keeps my skin balanced). The Garnier is ace for lazy days though. :rotfl: It's often on buy-one-get-one-free too, so it's truly :money:

    Best of luck!
