Sorry to hear about your mum Scrappie. Good wishes to you both.

Welcome Tater, I think that admitting you have a problem with buying stuff is the hardest thing about this challenge!

I've also been filling a virtual basket with sale goods then thinking twice and letting it lapse. Wish I'd done more of that in the past!

    I've got UUs.

Aussie miracle moist conditioner. WBA. Smells like bubble gum and makes hair really smooth.

Avon foot works AHA foot cream. I've had this since about 1949 (I jest of course, but I think it's 3 years at least......the shame!). Decided this year to start taking care of my feet properly. I spend most of my time in ridiculous shoes so they need help, but I keep buying stuff and forgetting to use it. This smelled nice and minty and was quite softening but I have to tell you I was expecting better cos of the AHAs. Thought it would really blitz the hard/flaky skin but it didn't really. I might BA. In the meantime I'll keep up the work with the trusty foot file. I need my feet to look nice because I've got these new silver sandals that draw attention to them. One of my colleagues remarked that my feet looked like robots. He is a man so what does he know? The women all loved them!

Here is my strategy for coping with football widowhood: the handsomest team contest. Spain are winning this year, as usual. Los hombres muy guapos!

I too got the Yardley Peony EDT in the post today, no card in mine but assume it was a Glamour freebie, it's the only one I have had and I was very pleased.

Also got a mini C&P and Balance Me rose otto body wash from LIB today.

When my DH is watching football I get to watch allsorts of things that he doesn't like, last night I watched Snog, Marry, Avoid. Scary stuff, these girls are so young but look 10 years older with all that makeup and tan.

    Fantastic amount of UUs
What bag have you got your eye on?

Valm - I am a total convert to cruising. We have been on four now and are looking for a last minute deal for this year too. The dressing up is all part of the fun too.

I'm also a cruse convert! I started saving up my change just to put towards a cruise in 2014 :) Royal Carribean all the way baby!:D

I got my eye on the Alexander Wang rococo (black with brass/gold hardware) :T

    another welcome here to tater.

i too love thunderstorms. We've just had driving rain here. I love the smell of rain. I too love autumn and winter. Love seeing the trees stripped bare.

received a sample of une foundation today but have given it to emma so not counting as an in.

Another uu and it's one i'm sad about: My beloved pcmc. I now only have a 15ml tube in the my stash but i'm saving this for my holidays. I'm going to try and get by using the oxygenating night cream during the day and if that doesn't work use the le skin repair in my stash. Wonder how long it will be before the fine lines creep back?

I'm a footie widow too. I was watching but then gary & co. Came on and i find the pundits tedious.

    me too!!!!!!!

I had to look up the bag tokkiandoliver and it is a real statement piece. Really lovely and what great motivation to say on track with the challenge.

I have another UU - Bic Shave Gel. WBA as it did a good job and was a great price. I am trying to use some of my very old conditioners for shaving so I won't be rebuying just yet.

I am completely done in tonight. Just finished my 6 shifts in a row this week and have settled on the sofa with Poirot. Rock and Roll....Speaking of which I did see the Rock of Ages last night at the cinema. Not sold on the film put thought Tom Cruise was very good in it.

Fiasco - I just got off work myself (8 days straight), and I'm home now too, in my pj's, and I'm finally off job #1 tomorrow - woot woot!
This calls for a nice long bath. NO UU's today but will be taking a bath shortly too so I hope to have some uu's.

Shattered this morning very late night last night, but lovely meal out with DH. Used my full bottle of EL foundation last night and makeup went on even better than normal, I assume its mixing better in the full bottle than in the little sample pots. I have a lot of splutterers so hoping for more UU soon

I include all my make up in my stash - the trouble is make up is so slooow to UU. I saw a glimmer of silver at the bottom of a Smashbox cream eyeliner pot this week but know it will still be months before it is UU and that is using it every day!

Me too. I pulled out my Smashbox pallette last night to apply some black eyeliner and saw that I could see the bottom of the pan. I mention my make up UUs but don't really feel that I stash these. The only items of make up that I really love and would happily buy more of are blushers and lip glosses but I feel I have enough at the mo as I have about 8 Smashbox lipglosses (bought on trips to the US) and about 6 Laura Geller blushers.

I managed to stay away from the L'Occ site so not tempted by the sale and we don't live anywhere near a shop so no temptation there either. Haven't done the Kipling TSV either - need to find a thermometer and check my temperature..,....

Oh dear, does sound like you might be coming down with something. I have probably only seen a few snippets of the Q over the past week (sometimes I get to have a quick nosey before leaving for work).

I can't remember if I welcomed Tater so shall welcome again. :o

I normally do love thunderstorms, but was a bit concerned as I was on the Net and it is possible for a strike to blow all the electrical appliances in the house!

In Germany in 1992 I watched the most fantastic thunderstorm over the Luneberg Heath from my apartment balcony, something I shall never forget.

We also had a phenomenal storm here c. 2001 when I was out for a gastropub meal, the pub is opposite a major chemical complex, which would take out half the town if it went up.
Needless to say, sod's law and lightning both struck the complex, and there was a fire on the roof of one unit there.  It was a major local headline the following day.

The worst storm was remember seeing/getting caught up in was in Orlando in June 1996. We have gone to Universal Studios and were waiting inline inside the Back to the Future Ride. We heard an almighty crack and then there was an announcement for us to leave the building. As we walked out one of the attendants came running out of a door saying there was water gushing everywhere inside. Once outside the rain was torrential so we decided to wait under the canopy for it to stop. They then made an announcement that we had to move as the building was unsafe. By the time we got to the car the rainwater was several inches deep and we could hear it sloshing against the floor the car. After a minute or so the windscreen wipers on the car gave up. It make the news for the highest amount of rainfall of the year. Funny, over there how it has all dried up again by next morning - as if it never happened.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
