VALM - when I lived in miami for 2 years, I experienced this type of torrential rain on a daily basis. I remember going into a shop with water to my ankles, coming out and it was completely dried up LOL

Oh and LUCKY YOU!!!! going on RCI, I love RCI so much <3 your med cruise sounds very similiar to the one I've been eyeing, but mine goes to Italy I believe. I would kill for a Greek island cruise but ideally want to port out of southampton instead of flying to somewhere and then cruising :) I'm uber jealous of your lush holiday xx

Think ours with celebrity was Venice, Dubrovnik, Athens, Santorini, Naples, Rome, (another Italian port), Nice (France), Barcelona (the order probably isn't correct) we really enjoyed every stop.

VALM - no wonder you're looking forward to your hols so much. It sounds great :j How lucky to find two dresses you liked (though unlucky about the missing button :()

I have a really good used up:

No. 65 Avon Naturals Coconut & Papaya Body Lotion (200ml) - this was a gift, years ago. I love the smell and it was effective but I'm really pleased to have finished it! :j I'm looking forward to choosing my next ancient body lotion to target (I also use a nice, new one for balance :) )

I reorganised a lot of my stash yesterday, which was very therapeutic. Loads of stuff (of course) but I felt better once it was re-ordered into like-with-like. It was useful to remind myself what I have (I think I need to do this fairly often). I've started to sort through my make-up as well. I have some lovely things that I'm just not using, which is daft. I'd really like to identify my HGs. (I'm close to a UU with my Benetint but I already have a replacement for that...:o )

Are Celebrity cruiseliners as big as RCI's?

When we went (nearly 7 years ago now) celebrity ships were bigger in fact I think the one we went on was the biggest at the time (Millennium Class), but think RCI brought a bigger one out after that. Not sure who has the largest ship an the moment, I think they alternate buying new classes of ship between the two lines, and of course each new class of ship is bigger than the last.

We were shocked when we arrived at the port to embark on the ship, it was huge bigger than a block of flats (bigger than a few blocks of flats). You really don't appreciate how big these ships are until you stand next to one. There was a huge advantage to the size th ough, I didn't get sea sick once even on the one really rough day we had. It was really rough mind you, we were all advised not to go outside, then there was a message not to open balcony doors (for all of us who had rooms with balcony), as someone had apparently and the door came off.

By the way I think millennium were a company in there own right once and rci bought them out.

The cruises you are all talking about do sound nice, I think I have a vision of lots of oldies on cruises all whizzing about on mobility scooters, I am wrong by the sound of it:rotfl:.

I have a TA today, Wilko Fake Tan, the colour of this is David Dickenson esq in his very tanned days, I'm pale so it's no good for me. Also threw away an ancient Shockwaves hair styling clay which I found when tidying up a drawer. Never liked it anyway as it was too thick to do anything with.

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Debt-free and Proud!
A few UU Boots NC passionfruit shimmer lotion, nice smell but bit old for the glitter I think! Wilkos face wipes-great value, and a garnier mineralsspray on deodrant, well its not empty but stopped working...I emailed to complain and ended up order a few samples from the website ops.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

Just back from seeing the Olympic Torch relay, which passed within half a mile of my house. Far more commercial than I expected with Coc* C*la and S*msung handing out goodies, but also much more light-hearted too. I have never seen police motorbike escorts high-five members of the crowd before.
    Really pleased I went.
UU Various sachets including an Avon Reversalist Serum.
WIB? No, it's an odd flesh-toned colour and I'm not entirely convinced that it doesn't show up on skin. Pleasant enough, but also very expensive.
I am loving the cruise tales. Oddly enough, when I went to the States (Vermont & Maine) I found the portions /courses the same as in the UK, with the exception of one place where you were encouraged to order one portion and two spoons for dessert so as to share it with a partner. Which I did.

    Hi All,
Trevor Sorbie Colour Preserve Intensive Conditioner - WBA - V impressed with TS products generally having used quite a few lately (I must have been gifted a set of minis at some point or bought some for a hol), smells lovely and does the job, been using this as a regular conditioner and rinsing off right away - left my hair lovely and soft.

I'm with you on the TS - his mousse is my HG - I always stockpile when it is on offer in Boots as no other mousse I have tried comes close to his.

Interested to hear about your torch experience - we are planning to go when it comes past us in July. Youngest DD has been invited to a party on the same day but hopefully we can work round that - I had no idea it would be commercialised - just thought it would ne an escorted 'runner' with a torch but one of those things you ought to do as it is probably a once in a lifetime opportunity. Sounds like it could be quite fun.

Now, totally OT but how :money:am I. Finally got my act together this year (having looked in July for the past 2 years which was way too late to book anything suitable) and have booked seats to take my DDs to see Mama Mia as part of Kids Week - my ticket was £64 but one DD goes free and the other was half price so cost me £96 instead of £64 x 3. No point my DH coming as he would rather saw his leg off than watch a musical so we will use some of the money that his ticket would have cost to have a meal and pay for our train tickets. :j

No UUs today but hope to notch up a few more before the end of the month.

    * Benefit - It's Potent eye cream sample - this sample lasted me quite some time. it was a nice cream to wear during the day but I just don't think I'll buy the full size as it didn't really do much for me

    * Dior - Skin energizer - only if money grew on trees, I'd definitely buy the full size. It really made my skin supple

    * Aveda - dry remedy moisturizing conditioner sample - I LOVE THIS HAIR CONDITIONER SO MUCH! Once again only if money grew on trees, I'd buy this over and over again, this may be my HG hair conditioner :)
