I like the fresh type like Clean Cotton, the foodie type like Christmas cookie/Cherry Berry Pie and the green type which are usually festive ones like Christmas tree and Cedar and Balsam. Although I also like the fruity smelling ones MrM doesn't and says they all smell like "berry". The only ones I have tried and really didn't like were Thaitian Tiare Flower (gave me headache) and Cafe au Lait as it smelt like a chinese curry. My all time favourite was Jack Frost (a festive one that smelt minty) but YC have discontinued this.

Chocolate Bunnies smells of Cadbury's chocolate. It is devine. Does not smell of bunnies at all! I know - I've compared it to Smudge and Sophie. x

here is a link to a piccy of the jar.

    Heeheehee!

My box has Water Garden (x 2), Bahama Breeze (x 2), Beautiful Day (x 2), Ocean Blossom (x2), Beach Walk (x2), Garden Sweet Pea, Fruit Salad, Tutti Frutti, Tropical Fruit, Dune Grass, Midsummer's Night, Christmas Cookie and I've got a bit stuck with burning Island Guava (not that appealing). I gave away both of the Pink Sands (which I liked). It seemed to be quite a summer hols sort of box :) (I bought Midsummer's Night, Midnight Jasmine, Sweet Pea and Christmas Cookie as extras).

Right. I must step away from the computer! :rotfl:

don't get me started on "care"? for older people:mad::mad::mad:my mum went into a hospice as only given a couple of weeks to live with cancer and when she did not die in time they insisted she moved out to an old folks home,(I was on holiday at the time after having looked after her at home I needed a break), my brother who lived near said no she had to go to him(hospice did not approve as his wife had health problems!) they threw her out on a rainy day and as the ambulance could not get right up to my brothers door he had to hold an umberella over her on a stretcher, she never recovered, had to go on morphine and died the next day.It was very traumatic for all involved.

Oh my goodness, Rosemary. That's absolutely awful. I'm really, really sorry. Nobody should be treated like that :( (My feeling is that they are looking at my Nan as an 'age' rather than a person and that she is being discharged whilst technically 'well' but not at all strong/ready).

Willowbee - sorry to hear about your Nan :grouphug:. We are all now sooooo intrigued about your OH! I would love to go to Hay - it is one of those places along with the Chelsea Flower show that I intend to go to when my DDs are a bit older.

I feel a bit shy about this, but here is a link to my OH speaking very, very quickly about one of my favourite pieces that he has made (I won't put his name as I'd feel v weird about this coming up in a Google search!):

He wanted me to go to Hay with him but I just wasn't up to it :( I'd love to go, maybe when it isn't the festival (I love books at least as much as I love toiletries! :rotfl:)

I just popped in to make a cuppa, that is amazing. As I might have mentioned, I am interested in textiles, colours, textures etc, so to me not only a fascinating story, but a really interesting piece of art.

Hay is brilliant, not been to festival, but if you love books, well what can I say, I hope that you are well enough soon to visit, from the book shop point of view I think better to go when festival not on, to my mind two completely seperate entitys.:)

Willowbee hope your nan is better soon

Fiasco sorry about the damage to your flat hope it is sorted soon

Kiplingmonkey thanks for the info on the Ren freebies, think I'll have to get them. Looks like some good magazine freebies next month.

Rosemary well done on your sales

I am aiming to only buy food (and dog food) this month as we spent way too much on holiday, including another painting. Next holiday is due to be paid off at the end of the month as well. Looking forward to next holiday September can't come quick enough at least we don't need to buy anything for this one.

That is dreadful can't believe how badly they treated her.

:D I'm so glad you like it! I still remember the day that we were sitting in the garden, drinking green tea and he asked 'how could I make a giant knitted rock?' My Dad and I were just  ! He hadn't ever worked with wool before...

I think that I'd rather visit Hay when the festival isn't on so that I can go around the bookshops slowly and quietly :)

I've had more ins and outs today. First the out

UU - Body Wash No.7 Blissful Body wash 40ml - WMBA it was nice, but could get nicer things for the price, this came in a gift set I bought in the January sales which was fantastic value. The cleansing body polish was in the same gift set and really loved that, best item in the set.

In - Matrix Colour Care Shine Shake 125ml - arrived this morning another prize from the glamour give away.

That Clean Cotton is one of my favs. It just smells so fresh and lovely :D. How much burn time do you get out of the big jars?

Oh wow willowbee. That a wonderful and creative piece :T

So sorry to hear of the awful experience and treatment of your mum rosemary. It does make you so  at how a "caring" profession can be so ruthless about so called bed blocking. I unfortunatly have some dreadful experiences with my dad before he died too.

Managed to get a few new dresses and some nightwear from M & S's sale. So I am quite happy. Not long in and I am gonna make a start of that dinner I promised mum.

Thanks Suidreams - I think I am just trying to get on with it and distraction is the key.

How horrible to have such sad memories Rosemary, that is so unfair.
Fiasco, hopefully things will continue to improve with the flat, sod's law for it to happen when you were away.
Willowbee, wow.... I only saw the 'knitted rock' comment after I watched the video, I spent the first part wondering what on earth it was made of. I liked the pyramid souvenirs piece, at a distance it looked like some giant exotic crystal, fascinating.

I've just had an Avon brochure dropped through. I'd wanted to get some pieces for DGD and DD, will try and resist for me, but I am very low on dry oil spray and I do love it so..
