tesco policy is you get full refund plus you keep the item, so if you pay £10 for a item and it is listed at £9.99 you get your £10 back and keep the item. i use to be a manager there...:rotfl:

Unfortunately tylerriley, things have changed since you were working there - definitely only Double The Difference now. So in your example you would get to keep your item and be given - - - - two pence!:rotfl:
  • Been a few years since Refund and retain tylerriley.
Haven't you been in a Tesco store recently?
After R&R they did the DTD on comparison shops - which went down a storm with people on here:T:rotfl::T
Tesco quickly withdrew that - twas nice while it lasted!
Now it's just DTD with trouts that always forget that DTD exists and try all ways not to follow head office guidelines:mad:

Bought 3 packs reduced finest beef steak meatballs today £1.40 from £4 and the 24£7/34£10 kicked in so each pack went down to 73p.
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

Just been to Mr T's and did a little bit of food shopping, picked up a litre of Smirnoff Red reduced to £15, looked at my receipt after paying and had been charged £19! Off to customer services where double difference of £8 was refunded to me, so a litre of vodka only cost me £7! Bargain!

Ok, I stand corrected, three times! £11 is still a bargain as Hollie777 said.
