Unfortunately tylerriley, things have changed since you were working there - definitely only Double The Difference now. So in your example you would get to keep your item and be given - - - - two pence!:rotfl:0 -

After R&R they did the DTD on comparison shops - which went down a storm with people on here:T:rotfl::T
Tesco quickly withdrew that - twas nice while it lasted!:beer:
Now it's just DTD with trouts that always forget that DTD exists and try all ways not to follow head office guidelines:mad:0 -
Bought 3 packs reduced finest beef steak meatballs today £1.40 from £4 and the 24£7/34£10 kicked in so each pack went down to 73p.Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)

Just been to Mr T's and did a little bit of food shopping, picked up a litre of Smirnoff Red reduced to £15, looked at my receipt after paying and had been charged £19! Off to customer services where double difference of £8 was refunded to me, so a litre of vodka only cost me £7! Bargain! :beer:0

Went to Tesco tonight and bought 4 fresh kiwi fruit (loose) the offer was 4 for £1
Luckily I noticed them go through till at £1.40.
A quick 80p back at CS.:j0 -
Red Seedless grapes ( packaged) £2 goes through till at £1
