Tesco Misprices Thread 14

  • Morning, on Wednesday evening on the way home from doggies flyballing class I called in to tesco extra in st@&kton on t33s, the half leg of lambs that were advertised as half price, £4.99/kilo the ones on the end aisle were half price, the ones on the meat aisle were full price £9.99/kilo. Only had £3 in my pocket, so got the yoghurt I needed.

I called in yesterday, to do a shop, and picked up 2 joints.

Went to cs and it was like pulling teeth (only it took longer) trout said you've picked up the wrong ones? Me, how can you pick up a wrong half leg of lamb? I told her I had seen the offer on an email, she told me online was different prices to in store. What a nightmare. She only offered to refund difference, I pointed out the blue sign, which there was a trolley in front of! She gave me a look, and asked if I was a Martin lewiser!

Phoned cs when I was outside the store, who told me to speak to the manager, at any point in 28 days, and keep the packaging-is THIS INFO CORRECT.. Went back and asked, but I had a dentists appointment. so couldn't wait around more than ten mins.

  • For info the xl beef joints, topside silverside and some other were marked at £10.00/kilo when the SEL stated £8.00/kilo

Today I bought some reduced chicken in Tesco express £2.25 to 45p and the 3 4 2 still kicked in, so 3 packs for 90p. Packs of 5 chicken drumsticks or 3 chicken thighs.
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

tip is to ring CS (the 0800 number) whilst you are there at the customer service desk (also use their phone ;) ) they will always give DTD from the head office straight away and you can pass the phone to the trout to hear the news and they will give u DTD with a big trouty look on their face

This doesn't always work... Read my experience a few posts up. In hindsight I should have gotten the manager involved but I was talking to the CS manager!

    Same here:
    Babyliss7545u
Charged £45 offer price £30 should have finished 12 June but labelled still at offer price
    £30 back Double the difference
My question though is this please:what will my refund be when I return the item???? (I only bought it to get the total up to minimum spend for voucher, I don't want to keep it)
Receipt has been marked "o/c £30"
    Thank you
Ageing is inevitable - maturing is optional :p

You should get back £30 ie what you expected to pay as stated on the label,
the £30 o/c is made up of £15 being the actual overcharge and £15 being Tesco saying 'sorry' for overcharging you.
