Same for me. 2 for £4 didn't come of on Lasagne and bolognese. £1.64 DTD, however the manager was useless! didn't know what to do! first DTD in an express however0 -
i noticed a large electrical item in store with a yellow label on shelf and it says reduced by £40...then there is a large label with the same item number on it saying save £59....no original price mentioned on large label,,,could i insist on dtd or would i just get another £59 of the yellow reduced label...
i posted this before and just wanted to say that the shelf label said £109 DOWN TO £69 WHICH IS IN DATE
THE RED LARGE LABEL ON THE SHELF HAS THE SAME PRODUCT NAMED ON IT AND IT SAYS JUST SAVE £59..SURELY I WOULD AT LEAST EXPECT TO PAY AT LEAST £10 OR PAYBE DTD OF £59 TIMES 2 MAKING £118 THERE ARE NO DATES ON THE RED SHELF LABEL AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF THE PRODUCTS ON THE SHELF0 -

Without a 'from' price for the 'save £59' bit, it would be very difficult to argue your proposal IMO.
Its all very vague!
They could argue, legitimately, and probably will - that the saving refers to the original price of £109.
But if you want a good 'discussion' with them, have fun and good luck!0 -
but the saving of £59 is not reflected in the yellow label price as this was alot less....so i am guessing that 2 discounts would apply as they are both about the same product and none are out of date?0

T Finest Oak Smoked Wiltshire Cure Gammon half price from £9.99 to £4.99 a kg until 11 June. Packs have a big grey half price sticker on. Newer packs dated 11 June priced up @ £9.99 kg and do not have a big grey half price sticker on, even though they are exactly the same as on offer and the SEL clearly showed the offer. I bought a £17.24 one and got a DTD of £17 .24.
Very minor trouting where the cs offered to let me have it @ the offer price and said £8.62 ? I started reading the board behind her like I'd never seen it in my life 'What if things don't add up ? She then tetchily pretended she hadn't finished calculating and refunded £17.24 onto my card without another word ! But her face spoke volumes. Free meat.:D
I also used the gammon to bump up the shopping to £50.25 and used a £5 off £50 voucher. This took it down to £45.25 and with the £17.24 refund £28.01 spend
Tesco Finest Smoked Wiltshire JointHalf Price Was £9.99 ... valid until 11/6/2013
