You should get back £30 ie what you expected to pay as stated on the label,
the £30 o/c is made up of £15 being the actual overcharge and £15 being Tesco saying 'sorry' for overcharging you.

    Thank you 1p knife

Awesome - went to T's for printer ink as hubby needed to take back a faulty xbox game

Spotted a double pack of the canon ink I use (pg510 and cl511) had a label saying £14 which is obv way to low for the double ink - label just said pg510 so looked like someone had shelf filled in the wrong spot - but there was no other place for these items to go so thought i'd give it a go.

Paid £30 at the til and went to customer services - showed the spot were they were with all the others of the same type there and she ummed and ahhd a bit and tried saying the code on the price label had to match the box and I pointed out that on the box it shows both pg510 and cl511 and the label says pg510 - so I got a double the difference of £32 :-)

So paid £2 to take a box of ink out of the store

That's going to be the first place I check for pricing errors from now on!
Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!

Lucky to get Dtd tbh... The product has to match the shelf edge label.
She should have just sold it to you at the £14. You were lucky :D
  • Hi, I searched and couldn't find this anywhere.

In my local tesco I've just picked up two bottles of Dove gradual self tanner. The price per bottle was £5.50 or buy two for £5! Hope this helps someone else.

Was in Tesco an hour ago, seen some Dolmio express minced beef bolognese (serves one) reduced from £1.50 to 37p on SEL, picked up one then thought I may aswell just get the lot so off I went with my 10 packets. They scanned through at £1.50 each so went to CS and received £22.60 refund. Shopping only cost £18 to start with because the dolmio had already went through on a multibuy, 50p off 2 packs, so £2.50 off then £22.60 back. That was my first DTD, I'm so proud of myself haha
The SEL stated it was the pack with extra mushroom but original was also in the box and they gave me both without too much fuss.

Just bought Tesco Finest '2 outdoor reared Norfolk thick cut pork chops'.
    Yellow SEL @ £6kg pack price @ £9.80kg.
CS couldn't work out difference so gave me the £3.80 x 2 DTD = £7.60.
    Pack cost £4.31.
Also had pork loin with different SEL but my freezer is packed so didn't get any.

Hello, first time I have posted as first time I have spotted a misprice myself. Just back from Tescos and on offer with SEL clearly stating £2.99 Bulgarian Red Discovery Series Merlot bar code 5060096611646. Went through at £6.99. Went to customer services and no quabble got DTD back £8.00. Wish I had picked up more bottles now lol, hope this helps someone. Have just tried the wine and its a very nice Merlot.

I had a nice unexpected DTD tonight. Old EL PASO extra mild super tasty Fajita kit, SEL showed £1.99 and 342, so I bought 3 and they went through @ £3.22 which is the price of all the other flavours of these kits (and they are all on 342. Paid £6.44 for the 3, should have paid 3.98. Difference was £2.46 and DTD was £4.92, refunded to me without even asking. Cost therefore was £1.52 for the 3. I asked and was told they were supposed to be £1.99 so the SEL was not wrong.

I only bought these after reading on MSE that they contain money off vouchers inside !
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
